{Berry is at -5 hp}
The group stands in another section of hallway, the southern end shrouded in mist, the walls somewhat slick, and the whole thing smelling once more of sweat and yeast, with undertones of something burning. The dark, viscous blood continues to well out from under the door, but it does not flow like normal blood - it twists and moves like a snake, inching forward in little waves, undulating toward Jesrula, who is still holding the decanter.

Jes stays behind Archie, "How bad an idea do you think it'd be to try to put it in the decanter?"
Cuz apparently I gotta break this down for you dense motherfuckers- I'm trans feminine nonbinary. My pronouns are they/them.

The group retreats down the corridor ten feet, where they hit a turn to the east. Archibald raises the staff in his clawed hands and invokes the command word, letting loose a burst of elemental lightning at the pudding-like blood blob - however, the bolt seems to fizzle and ground itself out just short. {Spell resistance.}
{Berry is at -4.}
The blood thing surges forward, winnowing out from a jelly-like pile to a pulsing ribbon of dark blood, moving directly at Jesrula. {The blood is entering everyone's square, so Attack of Opportunity for anyone that wants it.}

Jesrula discoporates, her milling members racing over the slick surface, mouth-parts bits down to suck at the dark blood. When Jesrula reforms some slight distance away, the blood-slick is a mere shadow of itself...but it continues to move, and grows as she watches it.
Archibald yells "Dammit!" and lets loose another burst of lightning from the staff, which like the last one grounds uselessly before the bloody ooze.
With a strange wobbling leap the ooze slams into the decanter, knocking it out of Jesrula's hands(?), and proceeds to spread itself out, coating the magical device.
{Berry is at -4 hp...and rising}
Cadwyn finds himself at a T-junction, with the corridor proceeding south and east. She catches a glimpse of a rat-like tail disappearing south into the fog.

"Hey, blood spatter, here are your options-" Jes says, "1- Fuck you, I'm spiders, man." as she summons a giant mosquito, directs it to drink up the blood mage and then fly off as far as it can. (She'll direct it to fly towards the Oracle pit and out to the desert, if possible)

Kai hangs back, wary of further lightning blasts.

As Jesrula works to summon a giant mosquito, she notices the blood covering the decanter ripple and undulate, emitting a rhythmic sloshing sound...and then she feels herself getting hot. Very hot. Burning. With a scream, the blood her spiders drank begins to burn its way out of them. {6 points of damage, half fire, half acid. The searing pain disrupts Jesrula's spell and restricts her to a single move action per-turn.}
Hearing the scream Kai rushes round the corner. Seeing the blood-thing has the decanter he will try to grab it and wrench it free.
