Followed by Kampfer

Having seen the first picture there, when I actually watched Kampfer, and it happened to be that fansub, I almost spat my tea out with laughter.

This is, in my humble opinion, the most metal cover in comic history.

Bad Analogy is bad.
Atheist's believe in the Earth :)
and Mom in that case, is a lot more like Earth, or The Universe than a Sky Fairy.

How is mom like the Earth rather than a Sky Fairy? Has anybody from the inside of the womb seen Mom. Sure they are fed and nurtured by this "Mom." But, I'm supposedly also nurtured and held in the warm embraces of Krishna.

There isn't a physical tube through which nourishment passes from Krishna to you and which if constricted causes you to wither and die.

Again, my point isn't that the physical attachment has more validity than the embrace of Krishna. The physical attachment is much more valid.

The expressed message, by my understanding, is that as fetuses inside the womb, there isn't a really concrete way to suggest that they could differentiate.

The macro isn't at all a great argument. Sab is correct. But for the sake of argument, I posit the above statements.

To get into the totally off topic atheism debate analogy:

Like all superficially good analogies, it will be wrong in some respects like there being no fucking reason why a fetus would know what birth even is which may or may not turn out to make it shit, or have no real effect, however, that's irrelevant because:

Anyone who contents that it is rational for a fetus to believe that the sphere it lives in with a tube that goes into it is actually the inside of a being pretty much just like itself without all the information we have on the outside is fucking wrong.

There is no good reason to believe such a thing without evidence, and the fetus has no such evidence.

We do, but it doesn't. So anyone contending that it's crazy to not believe something you have no evidence for can suck a cock and die.

So yes, if after you die, you totally have the evidence to give that it makes sense to believe in God, come and give it to me. Since you won't, I'll assume you are fucking dead, and you were wrong.

You know, if fetuses could think and talk, they could totally hear people talking outside of their mother AND be able to figure out that they were inside their mother by following the conversations. At the very least, they'd hear a bunch of human voices and have massive amounts of evidence of being inside a person.

I blame the image on religious people not understanding basic biology. Or evidence. Or being good at abstract thinking.

K: There's a difference between thinking and using the acquired input to generate a logical answer. I can hear the sounds animals make. But, I can't really understand what that means. Yes, we could use the argument that it might not mean anything. But we can easily turn that argument into one about watching Bees fly in a specific pattern and still not understand what that pattern is about. That requires knowledge outside of just knowing that there is a pattern.

Again, this is a somewhat futile debate that is more about fappery than anything else. Since I started the fappery, then all this debate means is that I am a degenerate who loves to whack off too many times during the day. Wait, too much information? Shit.
