It may actually be angle as well. The vagina is not particularly deep, but it is also not a straight tube:

Image

It curves a bit towards the woman's front. So if you are going straight in, it can actually bump against the back of the vagina before it reaches the cervix. Of course, there are a number of positions in which some portion of your penis remains outside, which is very similar to an effective reduction in length. Lifting a woman up isn't just a weird thing that people do in porn to get better film angles - it literally leaves more of the base of the penis out in the cold. That's good for filming, but if you're in trouble that too many centimeters of penis are going into the vagina, you can use that.

As for people who have given birth before: they often have looser cervices, allowing penetration into the cervix (which frees up another 20 cm or so of uterus, and I refuse to believe your penis is large enough to make that still be a problem). Of course, the act of giving birth also leads to scar tissue forming, which in some cases can make penetrative sex of any kind painful for the woman involved (there is a surgical treatment for that).

While we're talking penises...

Where the fuck do those tight-panted hispter boys hide their junk? Everywhere I go, I see skinny emo boys wearing strech jeans and women's pants. I'm a pretty thin fellow myself, so I figured I'd give that look a shot. The thing is, I have a 28-inch waist, so as far as I can tell my only option is women's jeans. How do you find clothes that hug your legs but not your junk?

I am probably the only guy that would say this, but if a penile reduction surgery existed, I would get one. It really is a hindering factor.
The vagina stretches in both width and length. There are, of course, physical limitations in the end, but the body can be encouraged to make plenty of room with nudging. And lots of lube. Unless you're above 9 inches, I wouldn't consider penile reduction surgery yet.

Awesome... I mean they aren't infinitely large but they do come close, apparently. Best post ever.

Also on a similar note, based on the idea of infinity, is there an actual volume limitation to Black holes? If we say that the universe is constantly expanding and being born, and we also say that Black holes within our universe also take up/suck in infinite volume, then how the fuck does that work?
I... words! I have none in my defense, and they apparently are not useful anyways.

I don't think there's a volume limitation to black holes, but I am pretty sure that black holes cannot pull everything in the universe into them with their gravity any more than the gravity of Alpha Centauri significantly affects our solar system. I mean, hey, if I'm wrong, I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure black holes don't have infinite reach on their gravity.

Do taller women tend to have larger vaginas than shorter women, or would it be roughly the same? I split up with my GF a month ago and I'm just curious (I have always had trouble finding mating partners who fit, but I also tend to date women who are shorter than average. I'm wondering if a change might be good in this case).
In my experience, there is no or little correlation between vagina depth and the height of a woman. So I don't think it would help much.

EDIT: Though chubbier women tend to be effectively deeper.

So while we're talking penis size and sex... What's with horses? Do I want to know?

I was going to make a comment to Cynic's question, but the phrase "black hole" following commentary on vaginas just knocked my brain off the logic train.

Black holes technically have infinite reach on their gravity, but that's the nature of gravity itself (as per mentioned by Weird Al).

As for black holes having infinite potential volume, I'm assuming you mean the event horizon itself. That's one of the weird things about them. Someone will always see it below them as they fall towards it, even after they crossed it, making the 'distance' from the horizon to the singularity directly proportional to the age of the black hole.

Relativity is fun like that.

I don't know. Size. They're gross. They like horses.

I'm not sure you can really get a good answer on that. ;)

I am not sure why anyone would have sex with horses, they stink and they shit every 15 seconds.

I have heard of people who are into very large penetrations, I guess some people like the way it feels, I don't know.

If it would still be a problem after adding 20cm, I'd be using it to pay some bills

Neighbors? That's like 150 miles from where I live. We have hippies and politicians here.

But I don't think I really want to know... I think my inquiry was more along the lines of "If a woman can have sex with a horse, is there a technique that can be used to help a woman have sex with a human?"

I hit the Vaseline covered mice and... *squick.* I'm done now.

Frank gave some decent positiong advice, but I have found in my experience that anything sexual that relies on the woman doing anything is at least somewhat unlikely. I have been re-evaluating my dating techniques and tweaking them lately before giving it another go, so it may be a while before I put them to use.

Does anyone know much about macbook chargers?

My one has stopped working and I have no idea why. A friend of mine has suggested getting another laptop charger with a similar output and wiring the magnetic connection to the end of it. So it would be about 16 V and 3.5 A rather than 16.5V and 3.65A. Does that sound like it would work to any of you and is it likely to fuck up my laptop?

Could go either way, really. Assuming the macbook is well-engineered, you'll probably just place undue stress on the components and have heat problems. Failing that the magic blue smoke will escape.

Wouldn't that invalidate the warranty? You might want to check that first - keep in mind their first rule of customer service is "fuck you".

Warranty? Hah. My macbook is more than 4 years old and the charger itself may be more than 2 years old. The warranty ran out a while back.

Peculiar properties of spacetime ensure that the perception of the magnitude of Soon is fluid and dependent, not on an individual's time-reference, but on spatial and cultural location. A marketer generally perceives Soon as a finite, known, yet unspeakable time-interval; to a fan, the interval appears greater, and may in fact approach the infinite, becoming Never. Once the interval has passed, however, a certain time-lensing effect seems to occur, and the time-interval becomes vanishingly small. We therefore see the strange result that the same fragment of spacetime may be observed, in quick succession, as Soon, Never, and All Too Quickly.

Why is it that I regularly see flights to Frankfurt and similar locations for under $400 in the Toronto star, yet whenever I try to plan a trip the flights are constantly $1000+? I know there's last minute deals, but the price variances I've seen are absurd.

Once the plane leaves the airport, the seat is lost forever. Thus they are willing to sell unbooked seats to you with a significant discount because $400 > $0. It really is all about timing and their promotion of the moment.

EDIT : Also there usually are lots of fine print detailing other fees they will tack on to the advertised $400.

Yeah, prices have a pretty nutcase range on them. That's seriously in line with typical variances.

Why the hell aren't half tablespoon measuring spoons popular? In order to measure half a tablespoon, you either have to eyeball it (my way), or figure out how much it actually is by converting to teaspoons (paranoid cooks' preference). Or why don't recipes write it out - 1 tablespoon + 1.5 teaspoons?

It's 3/4 of an ounce. Or, in other words, just eyeball it. If your recipe is using volumetric measurements, it's not worried about precision anyway, and being a little off from 3/4 of an ounce is not going to matter much.
