[cheesy Russian accent]Our great leader lost his arm in service of people, dealing with minor upstart nation with support from advanced imperialist technologies. All will be pleased to know that minor upstart nation has now been integrated peacefully into our great Socialist Republic, and their leader has been sent for re-education. We have decided to put one of our lead researchers into role of cultural ambassador. He can be seen here, supervising the new Socialist Militia, apprehending some capitalist thieves.

We greet our scaly neighbours with friendship, and accept their NAP-3. We should celebrate this with party, including head researcher/cultural ambassador and his socialist sex partner![/cheesy Russian accent]

Greeting Bogarus, perhaps your almighty nation should consider learning to read, it helps avoid accidental confrontations.

However all will be forgiven if we can establish a NAP-3 and I wish to claim rights to provinces 34, 25 and 17. I'm already cramped as it is.

Agreed and done.

Sigh, Bogarus, I asked for province 17 and you agreed, yet you still take it.
May I ask for province 26 in exchange?

I can just vacate that province and let you take it. There's 1 PD in there. Sorry about that, by the way - I posted the turn, THEN read you wanted that province...

As of Turn 22 I am declaring war on Ctis.

In agreement with our NAP-3, attack orders will be issued on turn 25, landing on turn 26.

May the Heretics Burn.

Things are getting interesting...

Oh well, in that case, I guess I should break our NAP too, C'tis.

By our agreement, attack orders can be given on 25, and shall resolve on 26 at the earliest.

(Nothing personnal: you're just huge and scary :) )

Hmm, Midgard and Marignon on turn 25/26. Ulm now.
Interesting times.

Holy shit you guys. They have Banefire. And hundreds of chariots. We really should have done this sooner. At least I think most of the chariots are on my front, judging by the army graphs. I recommend bringing serious evocation if you can because most of your troops won't live to close to melee.

In other news, I'm in the market for the following: 1 Thistle Mace, 1 Flaming Skull, 1 Flame Helmet, 1 Bag of Winds, 1 Starshine Skullcap.

Finally got to see C'tis' Banefire in action (at range, against province defense, but still.)

Visually disappointing - I was expecting awesome explosions, not puffs of purple smoke :) Nothing wrong with the effect though, although overall it probably was more devastating to C'tis' chariots than to the pitiful PD that got flattened by it. But I now have a healthy respect for your 'Mancers. They pack real heat.

Oh, and condolences on the death of Mr. Bunny, by the way. And congrats to Ulm for ridding us of the guy, if only for a time. :) On that matter - I know it's not really an issue in this game, but do the reduced paths following a Pretender death/call-back affect blessing strength?

Blesses are not affected (same if you empower an pretender).

RIP Mr. Bunny.

Awe is an effective defense against melee attacks, as is mirror image. When raiding PD that's usually all you need to worry about if you have a little armor. However, neither is very effective at preventing ranged attack. Since all I built was dozens and dozens of crossbowmen you would have been well served to throw up an Air Shield.

I may need a 12 hour extension. I'll try to get the turn in tonight so as not to delay the game, but it's not certain I'll be able to.

If I do get it in (I definitely will have done so before Bogarus' usual time if I can make it at all tonight) I won't need extra time, but you never know.

And I finally managed to find the time to do my turn.

Thanks for the extension, though.

Heh. Apparently, my prophet has been dead for long enough that I can make a new one.

That wouldn't be a problem if my prophet wasn't alive and kicking. :)

(seeing as that's obviously a bug, I haven't created a second prophet - but the game seemed willing to let me do it.)

So, if someone was waiting to re-prophetize - sorry for stealing your mojo :)

There are legitimate ways to get multiple prophets. I believe if you mind control a prophet away from an enemy they keep their H3, at least.

Oh holy fucking shit. I've been hit with a lot of stuff in the past week+, and I've only just gotten a moment to deal with it all. First-off, sorry about the huge stale-chain I've accumulated. Secondly, I'm not sure if my position is even recoverable anymore, but I can try. However, I don't really know if I'll have the time to participate in this game anymore, so I will likely go AI instead. If you all want me to stick around, I will, but my contributions will likely not mean much after almost a year of stale turns.

Again, sorry about that.

Didnt notice you stalling. Looking at the graphs I would have pegged Bogarus as possible winner (huge research, no resource eating war).

I still think you have a chance in this game, you have a huge research lead, and would have tonnes of gold, and no need of an army (yet).

I suppose so. I might as well give this one a go, once I figure out what the fuck I had planned down the line....

Pretty shure I had an NAP with Bogarus...
