Good to know. Since I went to Orkut (rid of all of good it might have by Brazilians), I feel lonely ... (OK, since before it)

IIRC, he's a badass voodoo guy who owns an occult bar, and in the scene in question he does a 'don't bring your damn' Good vs. Evil fight into my bar|!' thing.

Anyways, probably a good thing. And that movie is amazing: you should see it!

[Edit]Although there is this sequence (thanks, IMDB):
John Constantine: [as Midnight holds him up against a wall] Is this neutral? Bullshit! You're the only one still playing by the rules, Midnite, and while you've been imitating Switzerland people are dying. Hennessy, Beeman, they were your friends once, too, remember?

[Midnite burns him, he screams]

John Constantine: I need your help! Consider it a last request.

Midnite: You play a dangerous game.

John Constantine: [Midnite releases him, he slumps to the ground] Two hundred dollar shirt, by the way

Just don't expect award winning acting from Reaves.

Wow... this just got linked to me.

This whole thread is pretty stupid (and the fact that the OP named himself "Ultimate Opinion" makes me want to stab something in the face), but you don't even need to read the words of this particular post to make your brain explode. Just notice the utterly random capitalization of random words, or capitalizing the first letter of random words for no apparent reason whatsoever.

It is as you take it. I recommend watching the movie.

YouTube doesn't have the scene, though. The line before Catharz's quote is:
Midnite wrote:(shouts as he grabs Constantine) You know the rules of my house. (normal voice) While here you will abide by them.

My word... "KorgothThePrist" actually writes actual posts in actual spam poetry.
complete jellybrain wrote:And when they started becomeing swamp with people proveing that fighters where hella better then they thought they bring out the "Well My Wizard cast Broken Spell X" Well guess what Any class in 3.5 E could become broken at level 3 / 5. It didnt matter Its best to stay away from that yes But come on if we wanted to talk broken my fighter is broken at level 3 Deal with it.
That's just amazing.

The rhythm, the meter, it's all there; this guy is a full-on beatnik spam-poetry double-hardcore genius. Seriously, how can you beat something like:

"Read the posts about how a Lone Rouge can Solo Orcus? I Like to see them try agest a Proper Day of Battles on how its so pos to be .

You know Orcus With Buddies
Orcus being a few levels higher then them

Multibol battles in a day?"

Sheer class. I call Turing Machine.

As for the OP, well... "pompous twat" would seem to be a good place to start the description, although it doesn't really convey the full depth of the horror. Almost the entire thread is retarded.

It could be a version of the Twat-o-tron optimised for gaming rather than for Little Englander gibberish.

edit: sorry :ohwell:

Well, yes, hence the Turing Machine reference ;) However, I think you'll find it was me rather than Caedrus who wrote what you quoted. I furthermore think you'll find that your quote tags are broken!

EDIT: I take that back - I can't see where the tags are broken in your post, or mine! :bolt:

It's bosssmiley's.

He pulled a #1: apparently opening a quote tag with the button, then typing it closed, then forgetting that the board will add a quote tag when he posts.

Look at the bottom of his post in you own quote function. He has a couple of quote tags down there, rather than just one.

I'm assigning them.

#1: Improperly using the buttons. Listen, if you open a tag with a button, YOU CLOSE IT WITH THE BUTTON.

#2: Sloppy editing of text when quoting. Remember to count you opening tags and compare that number with your closing tags.

#3: Douchebaggery: If you want to risk the Fence-builder's full wrath, go right ahead.

At least the missposter is easy to spot. For this tag error, he'll be the bottom one the left, and the ones after will be on the right. But you can check people by hitting the Quote button on someone's post and then counting tags.

As much as I am saddened by Pathfinder's fail, it's still way better than 4e.

But not according to the forumtards:
And now they're not allowed to do their good work because the people they're trying to appease will slay them if they show any signs of good design philosophy.
My response:
Good design philosophy? Seriously, what? Fixing mechanics is a good design philosophy. Removing things from the game because they might take ten minutes to balance is the opposite of a good design philosophy.

I figure that if I post it, everyone will go, "Oh, P_R, you're so smart and wise and pretty and I wish that I were just like you!"

(To answer your question: no. The reason I post my own responses is because they serve the purpose of what I would add as commentary on the TGD forums.)

T_D wrote:Pathfinder also doesn't fix the problems 3.x has. FYI, it isn't actually a better game, and some have said that it is a worse one because it actually makes spellcasters even stronger relative to non-spellcasters. And yes, it isn't entirely compatible with 3.x materials.
Edit: Blearrggh, tags.

Meh. Some folks over there had a go at the big thread about sucking Gygax's dead cock too. Its hardly a surprise.

For this one, I actually had to check and see if it was the Professional Magic player who 'sold WotC on the digital initiative'. It would have added something.

I actually think discussions of whether someone's work will continue after they kill their estranged wife and then themselves is perfectly reasonable and the people who jumped on him for it should check their dicks into a pencil sharpener.

For Example.

Side Note: Frank, thanks for the link. I don't mind ripping off Hitchens when he whips out a line like, "If you gave Falwell an enema, you could bury him in a matchbox." That's gold.

As always, it depends on tone. IMO, he sounded like a jackass. YMMV.
