I have been considering buying True20 Adventure Role-playing for Christmas, and I have looked at the two previous threads about it for consideration. I have heard that it has problems with the spell casters (as usual), but despite this, I found myself attracted to it.
What I must ask is, what does it have that D&D d20 does not? Does it fit the mold of any RPG genres better than d20 can?
I know that it is more simple and streamlined, but I need a better reason to consider buying it.
Why I Like It:
1.) Far fewer classes.
2.) No hit points!
3.) Streamlined rules make it easier to comb through.
4.) Several of the settings for it sound cool (Razor In the Apple, Freeport, etc.)
Edit: Nevermind, I decided to buy it. Quite a good book, if you don't count the multiple fiascoes involving the Adept.
Not Another True20 Thread!!
