A Look Into the Future...?

Recently, I've become minorly addicted to a show called House MD. As I'm not a medical expert, I really have little clue as to how likely or unlikely things on the show are, but I totally admire Dr. House (despite wanting to kill him about every 49.2 minutes).
I think I finally realized why...
Given his dry sense of humor and sarcasm, Dr. House reminds me totally of Frank. Given Frank's desire to become a doctor, I wonder how accurate a portrayal this show is going to have been in 30 or 40 years.
