Some good PrCs for Dread Necromancer?

The NPC in question: Fully advanced Slaymate Dread Necro.

Aiming for CR 12.

What are some good PrCs for the Dread Necro? I have access to pretty much every WotC book that's been printed.

but Dread Necromancers kind of... suck.

So asking for a good PrCl for a shitty class is kinda...mmm.

Well. It depends on what flavor you're going for. Master of Shrouds might not be terrible.

There's a lot you can do with Dread Necromancer and it can be a pretty strong class. You'll probably want to grab 8 levels of the class, so you'll be only taking a tiny dip into a PrC of your choice.

I am both very proud and very sad that years and an entire edition later people are still using that guide. The last post in it was yesterday.

That being said, the Tome of Necromancy was written because of the profound lack of playable Necromancer PrCs.
