I have finally finished my escape from one of the hellish places on earth.

I am free, free of reading cases.

Free of Socratic seminars

Free of cite checking

Free of outlining

Free of essays that are written by people who want you to fail

Free of having my entire existence validated or invalidated by one 3 hour test after months of work.

I am free, and my shadow shall never again darken that school's doorstep (except that I have to go for graduation and a few other things). The chapter of my life entitled law school has come to an end, the chapter known as unemployment begins today.

Congratulations! Now you just need to find a job in this current economic boom.

And I use the term boom to refer to a massive explosion.

Then again, more and more people are looking to crime to keep themselves afloat, so perhaps law is a good move. What kind of jobs are now open to you?

Generally, most prosecution and public defender jobs are being cut back due to budgetary problems, so...

Out favorite card that we got when we graduated last Spring was:

<outside>
No More Pencils, No More books...
(picture of animated people throwing hats into the air)

<inside>
No more money, get a job!
(picture of depressed looking person in business suit)

We both had jobs lined up in our respective fields however.

Anyways, graduating college is without a doubt the second biggest joygasm I've ever had. The first was when I proposed. The second was more intense, while the first has lasted longer.

Congratulations, ride out that feeling.

Congratulations? Did you specialize in anything related to bankruptcy law, perhaps? If so, I think you have a VERY bright future ahead of you... :lol:
