I was wondering a few things. I had found out the old posts on the history of the den, which explained why frank choose this to be his home.

1. Why was the Gaming Den established?

2. Why did everyone come here?

sorry if this has already been covered but if anyone wants to direct me to the post that would be wonderful.

Thanks

2- I was told Zherog was here, but he really doesn't seem to be that often except for in official capacity. He is spread thin all over the web.

I stayed for the buffet.

I read some stuff, and I chime in on occasion, mostly in MPIMS.

I was a Niftyite who came over when fbmf posted a link over there. I've been here on and off since, taking breaks when life or school projects get in the way, or when I get burned out on strident game design and political discussion. Like, for example, the last couple of months.

I was researching Pathfinder and one of the reviews on Amazon said that there were some threads here that went into a lot of detail about it, so I bird-dogged it and here I am. Congrats Frank, you cost Paizo thirty bucks. (By the way, I'm friends with your brother-in-law).

I came here more-or-less after hunting down the origin of the Tome of Necromancy. Liked the random game projects so I decided to hang around and now-and-then contribute since. I haven't had much to say recently though since a lot of the subjects cropping up have been rehashed or my creative focus is elsewhere.

I came here once, a while ago, again, by hunting down the origin of the Revised Tome of Necromancy. I was a member of several other communities at the time, but honestly speaking, I didn't learn that much there. Once I came here, I was inspired (and in some cases, pushed) into designing stuff, and I really haven't stopped since.

I came here after being linked to the Tome of Necromancy on DnD Wiki from aother site (don't remember which one) and I wanted to see all of it so I showed up here. My story is similar to Sinister's. I tried to create some classes and after being thoroughly baptized and shouted at about the wrongness that pervades in 3rd while learning more about the game here than anywhere else I decided to stay.

A while back, I was googling to find an SRD (The one had I had been using, plain black text on a white background) got locked down and I saw something about the Jester. I followed the link, loved the class, hen found my way here.

Virgileso wouldn't quit harping on about how awesome this site was.

So to put a sock in his mouth, I came on here and well I now harp to my wife and friends about how awesome this site is.

I inadvertently got directed here via the Tome material. Back when I was still at the WotC boards, I saw a Fighter that OttoTheBugBear posted and really liked it. What I didn't know at the time was it was 90% the same as the Tome Fighter. So, I took what I like, reposted it and gave Otto credit. Some time later, someone said how that looked like a watered down version of the Tome Fighter and I asked what that was.
