Giant Frog
With the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog.
Prerequisites
Skills: Jump 13 ranks.
Special: Giant Frog; this is a Knightly Order prestige class.
Base attack bonus: Good.
Saves: Good fortitude.
Hit die: d12.
Skill points per level: 4+Int.
Skills: Climb, Craft, Hide, Jump, Knowledge (Giant Frog), Listen, Move Silently, Profession (Giant Frog), Search, Spot.
1: Giant Frog
2: Giant Frog
3: Giant Frog
4: [Giant Frog]
5: [Giant Frog]
Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Giant Frog.
Giant Frog: Starting at 1st level, the powers of Giant Frog allow you to Giant Frog—and you look the part.
• Your type changes to outsider, and you gain the Chaos and Slaad subtypes. If you were an aberration, construct, dragon, elemental, or undead, you gain the appropriate augmented subtype.
• Your natural armor bonus increases by an amount equal to your class level.
• Your fast healing increases by an amount equal to your class level.
• You gain a bite attack that deals two steps more damage than normal.
• You gain a magical competence bonus to Jump.
Giant Frog (Sp): At 2nd level, it becomes clear that you never really Giant Frog until you Giant Frog on a Giant Frog, so you gain a Giant Frog as a mount. Treat this as a titanic toad with a Jump skill bonus of 41 and the improved grab and swallow whole special attacks, and a crush attack instead of trample. You can call it into any location within medium range or dismiss it as a full-round action. If the Giant Frog dies, you can replace it with another, identical Giant Frog in two hours.
Giant Frog: With 3rd level comes the realization that you never have to Giant Frog alone again. You gain two claw attacks and the implant ability of a red slaad. If you have the ability to gain a cohort, a slaad created in this fashion can serve you as such and advance in class levels. If your slaad cohort dies, you can choose to implant a rebirth egg. This acts as a true resurrection cast on your cohort when the egg matures.
If you have a slaad cohort, mortal followers you have of 6 or more HD are slowly and inexorably transformed into mud slaadi.

The alternate forms are a neat idea giant frog but they need to frog be fleshed out a giant bit so I can more giantly frog this when I'm working on the fly. Add durations and all.
Also, you should say at what level you gain what in the ability descriptions.

This ability
CatharzGodfoot wrote:Giant Frog (Su): You gain a blue slaad alternate form. This grants you the movement, size, natural attacks, special attacks, and special qualities of a blue slaad, as well as the following attribute adjustments: Strength +6, Constitution +4, Dexterity +2, Charisma -2, Intelligence -4, Wisdom -2.
and this one
Giant Frog (Su): You gain a green slaad alternate form. This grants you the movement, size, natural attacks, special attacks, and special qualities of a blue slaad, as well as the following attribute adjustments: Strength +6, Constitution +4, Intelligence +2. You also gain ranks in Concentration equal to your character level+3.
Do the same thing. Copypasta error or do I just not giant frog the way it's supposed to work?

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Giant Frog.
Proficiency in using giant frogs as weapons?
Awesome.

It needs the Use Giant Frog and craft(giant frog) skills, and maybe a bonus [Giant Frog] feat such as Weapon Focus (Giant Frog), Exotic Giant Frog Proficiency. At later levels, the Giant Frog attack should ignore Giant Frog Immunity in order to stay in the game, otherwise we're back in Giant Frogs Can't Have Nice Things territory.
All in all, it's a Giant Frog effort and I commend you for your Giant Frog.

Yeah, it's a copy/paste error. At least I think I caught all of the slaad -> salad autocorrections.
Also, I should probably say somewhere that the DCs and caster levels are based on character level.

I'd do Craft (giant frog), but Craft has been redone as a skill to allow no subtypes. Exotic Giant Fog proficiency is a good idea, and you're right about ignoring immunity to Giant Frog. Since they're already proficient in Giant Frog, they can take Weapon Focus whenever they like.

Awesome, when this is finished it'll totally make my dream come true, now I can play a Dire Toad and have a class tailored for me!

I'm thinking of revamping the class to make the character a slaad (with original `alternate` form) from the get-go, and then handing out appropriate abilities rather than more alternate forms. So it will look more like this:
1: Giant Frog, Giant Frog, Giant Frog
2: Giant Frog, Giant Frog
3: Giant Frog, Giant Frog
4: Giant Frog
5: Giant Frog
Giant Frog: At first level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog.
[*]Your type changes to outsider, and you gain the slaad subtype (along with the slaad traits).
[*]If you were undead, an aberration, an elemental, or a dragon, you gain the appropriate augmented subtype.
[*]Your size increases to large (tall).
[*]Your base land speed changes to 30'.
[*]Your natural armor bonus is increased by a number equal to your class level.
[*]Your strength increases by 2.
[*]You gain fast healing equal to your class level.
[*]You gain two claw (1d4) natural attacks.
Giant Frog (Sp): At 1st level, Titanic toad, as above.
Giant Frog (Su): At 1st level, you gain the alternate form ability, which allows you to transform into whatever you were before Giant Frog.
Giant Frog: At 2nd level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog:
[*]Your skin is red.
[*]You gain a bite (2d8) natural attack.
[*]Your strength increases by 2.
[*]You gain the pounce, stunning croak, and implant abilities of a red slaad.
Giant Frog: At 2nd level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog. Your summon ability allows you to summon slaad with a CR at least 5 less than your own. Your percent chance of summoning the slaad is ten times the difference between your CRs.
Giant Frog: By 3nd level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog.
[*]Your skin is blue.
[*]Your natural armor bonus increases by 1.
[*]Your constitution increases by 2.
[*]Your claw damage increases to 2d6, and look much more scary as well.
[*]You gain the slaad fever ability of a blue slaad.
Giant Frog: Starting at 3rd level, you can use the following spell like abilities: hold person, passwall, and telekinesis at will, and chaos hammer and giant frog once per day.
Giant Frog: At 4th level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog. Your skin is green, your charisma increases by 2, and you gain the following spell-like abilities: chaos hammer, detect magic, detect thoughts, fear, giant frog, protection from law, see the invisible, and shatter at will, and dispel law, deeper darkness, and fireball thrice per day.
Giant Frog: At 5th level, with the power of Giant Frog, you can Giant Frog. You can summon as many Giant Frog mounts as you like. You also gain favored enemy: fnord.
Does a gray slaad really count as a giant frog?

Don't forget the Mud Slaad, Death Slaad, Black Slaad, White Slaad and Caesar Slaad. Wait, that one's Caesar Salad, never mind.
Yes, Mud Slaads actually exist. They have a "Don't hit me, I'm pathetic" ability.
Also, I recommend Knowledge (Giant Frog).

I suppose that Profession (Giant Frog) is kind of a given.

Don't even bother with Profession (Giant Frog). I mean, if you have to profess to be a giant frog, you really aren't are you?

You know, after looking at the titanic Frog, it's pretty beast. CR 13 (though its not really got much in the way of tricks going for it.) For an actual knight that qualifies for Giant Frog through Chaos Knight it's not so bad. But if a player plays, say, an awakened dire toad and qualifies for Giant Frog that way... you could have a titanic toad in your party by 5th level!

You actually need the "giant frog" ability. If your character sheet doesn't say that you can giant frog, you don't qualify.

So you can continue to summon your dead giant frog, and drop it on people to crush them? That's totally awesome.

Hell, you can summon
multiple dead giant frogs to drop on enemies. There hasn't been a Tome ability this hilarious since Koumei's pirate class instantly summoned shoulder parrots when the previous parrot died, thus flooding the enemy in dead parrots if they kept targeting them, and eventually winding up with either a very pissed or very nervous parrot on your shoulder.

It does remind me of that part from Naruto where the guy summoned the giant toad so it landed on some giant summoned snakes...

Or Chrono Trigger.

Alright, I did a major revamping trying to make this look more like a real class, and changed or got rid of almost all of the abilities.
In short, the titanic toad is now more frogly, it's a knightly prestige class, and you become a special sort of slaad. Oh, and you should be able to qualify by dint of being any sort of giant frog, so long as you have the jump ranks.

Needs to gain access to Knowledge (Giant Frog).

Is this allowed? Aren't knowledge skills in 3.5e/Tome restricted to the few printed in the PHB?
I seem to remember a Trollman rant about taking ranks in 'Knowledge (combination to the king's safe)'.

I think under the [Giant Frog] version of Chaotic, you could use Knowledge (Giant Frog) in place of any Knowledge skill while on the plane of Limbo, or in regard to creatures native to Limbo.

I don't know about level 4, but at level five you should [Giant Frog] the game.
