Right. Having decided that sup/tg/ can, as a channel, choke on a factory of dicks, I have left, which does involve killing the game I was running.

So I might as well run another game, inviting the people here. It's the same timeslot:

Midday-ish on Tuesday (likely 1-2PM) until... 4+ hours later, every week.

That's GMT +10, you do the fucking math.

I'm not going to read-through-ignore in this thread, so if I'm ignoring you, you might not want to apply.

First thought: D&D Best Edition, Tome rules, starting at low level. You're in a world that is entirely frozen over, and the Winters are particularly terrible. The nation-state of Vjak is hiring unaffiliated mercenaries (you), as the barony of Ukra is using banditry to rob the merchant caravans from Urska (where the oil is). People are dying, and so you need to go stab Ukra in the face.

Yes, it's totally similar to semi-recent real-world events.

Second thought: basically a playtest of Dungeon Crusade, first with Assault Tier as a series of rapid dungeoncrawl things until they all end up possibly getting killed, and then Siege Tier for the awesome guys to rock up and CHANGE THE WORLD.

Third thought: Disgaeagame! The Overlord is dead, oh no! Quick, we need to set out and try to restore order to the lands in this New Game+ and try to become the new Overlords/Final Bosses.

Any thoughts, minions? And yes, if too many people want in, I will use an impartial panel broken down by age and sex (me) to choose people based on:
A) How much I happen to like them
and B) How sexy awesome their character concepts are

That puts me at...Oh...7-8. What day will this be on? Because, seriously, you're sixteen hours ahead of me.

Day important here too, I'll have to figure things out better, because you're like 18 hours ahead of me, but I could have sworn that put the game around 8pm for me.

also it depends on whether my work gives me hours that day...

Tuesday afternoon for you is monday evening for me. Admittedly, 10-11 Monday (sorry, Prak, got my own math off)...and I'm home from work at 9, so I'll be there, I'm just unsure of my own mental state.

I can't do it. That'll put it at 8pm-ish Monday evening for me, and I'll likely be elbow deep in dishes at work. And sorry, but I have face to face games I need to get work to schedule around, so... yeah. But I'll see if my schedule changes once everyone has new availabilities in due to summer vacation.

Meh, I don't think my boss would look kindly on me smiting during working hours.

Handy tool for those who are interested but have a bit of trouble figuring time zones.

I wanted to play. But 2pm for you is 12am for me. If you're going to play until 6pm, that means I'll be up until 4am. My bed time is 11pm, so that's not going to work for me...

If it was an hour later that what you were proposing, I should be able to manage it. When I get home, my thoughts tend to be 1) Food 2) Water 3) Stare at wall until cogitation restarts.

Once I've satisfied those, I'm good. Getting home at 9 means I go to sleep later and wake up later than most people. I don't have anything pressing to do until about 11, when I generally start thinking of stuff like showers, clothes, finding my ID badge, etc.

It's the getting home to jump right into a D&D game that snagged it up for me.

I don't have much flexibility there - I already play a game on Sundays, and run a tabletop game on alternate Saturdays when Cleric isn't off visiting his sister or getting married. Alternate Mondays I have to go see my case manager (though I suppose I'm always back well before 4).

Wednesdays are also okay, and Thursdays are sometimes okay, but I'm often out doing things (again, I should usually be back before 4). Fridays I go out and enjoy free art classes. Hmm, but that finishes at 1, so again, I suppose we're actually all good. So:

Tues: 1PM to 8PM is all good
Wed: 1PM to 8PM is all good
Thur: 4PM to 8PM is okay
Fri: 4PM to 8PM is okay

I think I can manage anywhere in 1-7 your time, any of those days but Friday.

I think I can manage starting at 2 your time, any day. That's 10 at night for me.

Well, that's two maybes, which is better than nothing.

Any thoughts on what you actually want to play?

I don't have much of a character concept about Dungeon Crusade.

For the Ice one and the Disgaea...well, depends. I've got a few things I've wanted to play.

As much as I'd want to actually play the Vampire White Mage, that actually conflicts with my F2F game (or more accurately the commute home and subsequent up-too-late bedtime after my F2F game)

But if you ever move to somewhere that doesn't have their afternoon in the middle of the night lemme know.

Wednesday any time your time zone should be ok. I'll have to see how my schedule changes with my new availability for the summer, but it should be cool. I'll have to see about a concept...

I'm inclined towards the Tome/Disgaea options; current ideas are:

A) Pokeymans Trainer
B) Angel Green Mage who guest starred in the other game
C) Robot Magical Girl who uses a Drill, which is her Soul.

I'd be interested in trying out Dungeon Crusade. I thought you did some really nice work on it, if open praise is at all appreciated.

I say this having never played 40K, but having read more about it than the original fluff warranted. I'd like to try some kind of Psyker, specifics depending on tier.

I'm a GMT-5 night owl, so scheduling isn't a concern.

My options for all three are:

-For Dungeon Crusade, I'd go with something that makes big explosions for assault tier. For Siege tier, dibs on something involving much Dakka. Probably Eversor Executive. Unless I just decide I want to try playing an Adeptus Sororitas.

-For the Tome Game, I'm going to play a Fire Mage and make fire for people and become GOD-KING PYRUS MAY HIS HEAT BLAZE FOREVER Succubus Empusa Kunoichi not a damn clue. Barbarian or Fighter or something. Maybe I'll PrC into Master of Chains or Dragoon (both my own work). Or a Reaping Mauler.

-For Disgaea, I'm again not sure. Succubus Ninja? Justicar Soulborn? Ghost Star Mage? Orc Monk Luchadore?

I'm in. I doubt my schedule will change, like, at all.

Uhm, I say Cold Outside/Disgaea, maybe a slight preference to Disgaea, but honestly, I'm up for any of them.
