I have a game called Magicka. I want to play that game in a four person party. Or at least some kind of party.

If anyone else has this game, and wants to play sometimes, this would be a thread to coordinate that effort.

I recently bought this game, and haven't had a chance to play it online yet.

Easy enough to install again. How do you want to go about setting this up? Schedule it with forum posts, or some more real-time way of getting in touch?

I am open a lot, and willing to start with just two if we can't draft anyone else in, or if you know anyone.

I don't think I know anyone who's still playing. My schedule's wide open, though. Any times you have in mind?

Game TGD Magika, Password TGD. Let me know if you don't see it, because I don't have access to the network for changing port forwarding.

I do (can port forward, that is) if there's a problem, but it's currently only 7:00 and I have a little trip to make. I should be back in 40 minutes or so.

Ahh. I did not check; didn't realize you were just doing a test run. If it is currently up, I do not see it. If it is not currently up, I am back and you can rehost.

It is up, so you should probably host.

EDIT: It was up, so you should host and give me a name/password.

Name will be TGD2, password will be TGD. I'm assuming you just wanna run the adventure. I don't see any controls in the options for a mic, or even typing, so do you want to set up vent or what?

Edit: maybe there are some text options. The lobby has a chatbox, at least.

It keeps saying request timed out, not sure why.

EDIT: Do you know what VAC is? Try turning it off and see if that helps. (Google says it'a Valve anti cheat.)

Authentication failed. Is password still TGD?

Also, mine was named TGD Makicka if that matters.

Try without password, I managed to get into someone else's game, so it should be possible.

I now have a passwordless game up named TGD2.

The timeout issue was my firewall interfering with the connection; the authentication failed message sounds like a really common/really weird bug that may have something to do how they chose to integrate Magicka and Steam.

Edit: and it is staying up until you say it does not work, so we don't keep missing eachother.
