Traveller questions.

I want to start a game of Traveller and I was wandering if any one here had some advise. I was thinking mongoose since I've got some of the books but if something else is better that's fine too.

I always prefered Mega Traveller to regular Traveller, but I have not played either in almost 20 years so.
