Did you accomplish your 2013 gaming goals? As for 2014...

I didn't have strong goals for 2013, just rolled up tgmb posts that stood out like a dung beetle adding to his ball, barely worked on my fantasy heartbreaker. Played some play by post games though and enjoyed it.

2014 goal: Get fantasy heartbreaker into a playable state, draw more.

2013: All except one.

2014: I think my big goals are to finish Orphanmaker and make sure Shadows over Stygia gets to a satisfying conclusion. Still toying with the idea of a GURPS VikingPunk campaign.

2013: I can't remember if I had any goals or what they were, insofar as gaming goes.

2014: I hope to complete the Pokeymans d20 thing and put it all in one .zip for people.

2013: Run a campaign that lasts at least 3 sessions. Failed. Though I blame our schedules for this. I did have a few amusing one shots though.

2014: Learn game design well enough to significantly contribute to gaming den projects. If video game related stuff counts, get around to actually making a playable videogame, as I've been hoping to do since I was 4.

I finished my yearblog. I got the number of entries I wanted, and the minimum wordcount I wanted, and I hit the number of views (>100,000) that I wanted, and I never missed a day. I never managed to actually get anyone to do a review except for when Frank drunk-reviewed the first 30 days, though.

2013: Wrote and playtested muh Fantasy Heartbreaker. Spent fucktons on Magic cards to ease depression. Stopped vomiting and napping from all the drugs earlier in the year.

2014: Get back to my old job in the capitol. Design a video game a comic artist and I were working on before my probation called "FrankenFighter". Get a short film done, or more. Stop spending so much on goddamn card games. Get in shape for costume MMA. Learn jiu jitsu. Put vocals to my industrial music (and finish that song about Mila Kunis so I can show it to her when I see her again). Travel. Put forth the script I wrote for a fantasy action movie. Propose plans to a director I know for a cartoon series about urban artificial superheroes called Jeguhadar. *pant*

I used a couple of ideas from your blog for a short series of oneshots with Dungeonslayers (modded for a SciFi theme), but I couldn't tell you which ones from the top off my head.

I finished an After Sundown campaign that should never have used After Sundown, discovered that famous old-school modules don't necessarily play all that well, and am currently in the process of running a Pathfinder adventure path with Legend, to mixed results.

So that's something, I guess.

Not a single one of them. 2013 was one of the worst years I've ever had gaming and every game I attempted to run last year died an ignoble sputtering death.
