Adventure Games Thread

In light of the recent release of Heroine's Quest, and the general frustrations endemic to ye olde pointe-and-clycke adventure games in general, I figured this is appropriate.
Besides, maybe someone else will have turned out to have played King's Quest 6 and done the Land of the Dead part of that...
Anyways.
Heroine's Quest: Sorceress playthrough at 407/500 points, on the last chapter, trying to wrap up sidequests. I think I'll do a warrior playthrough next.
I'm impressed with this. It's a really high-quality work. I like how the mythology is pretty accurate, and dig the combat (then again, I loved the Quest for Glory 2 remake's combat)
As a mage, my favorite part is the variety of the spells. Quest for Glory, magnificent though it was, had a lot of combat spells and then a few you used a couple of times in a game in plot points. In Heroine's Quest, your solution to every puzzle I can think of involves magic.
And then there's non-plot utility. I especially like how if you need to get into a town after dark, you can teleport past the gate.
Anyway. If anyone needs a hint or something for sorceress playthrough, I'm qualified.
