quantum bears can be a problem and like ghost whistler i think they should have simply removed triumph and despair results (or at least let them cancel each other out like advantage and threat), but overall i like the system.

every roll offers the chance to be creative, but if you're not into that or can't come up with anything, you can always default to the mechanical effects. both ways work and they work side by side, i think that's quite elegant. noone is ever forced to "pull something out of their ass". narrative interpretation of rolls is encouraged, but not mandatory.

even though there are no cards for talents or equipment, the dice-results still work the same way.
