Is Ted Cruz the Zodiac Killer?

It's been widely reported that more than a third of respondents say "maybe".

That makes it unlikely, but not impossible. There are any number of methods by which Cruz could have killed people before he was born, including time travel and reincarnation.Prak wrote:A third of respondents know nothing about either, then, because Cruz was born in 1970, two years after the beginning of the Zodiac Killer's activity. Exactly. There's something fishy here.erik wrote:Yeah, it's probably impossible, but if it is then why hasn't he openly denied it?

Families of the victims of the Zodiac Killer. Yup.
"Isn't that great? People are using the man who killed someone we loved dearly to troll a politician they don't like! So clever!"
Yup, I'm sure they adore the idea of the faceless man who eluded capture and never answered for needlessly ending the lives of people they loved being turned into a silly little meme to mock someone.
I mean, sure, some of the ones who spent these past decades thinking about someone they lost - a sibling or maybe even a child - and wondering "why" may not appreciate it but they just need to toughen up. We've got the high road cuz we're mocking Ted Cruz so what if there's possible emotional collateral damage?
RIGHT?
But seriously I hate people a lot right now.
And, no, selling shirts of this shit for a "good cause" doesn't make it better. Being shitty for good reasons is still being shitty.
I completely agree with the literal meaning of those words. I know what he means them sarcastically. But still, completely agree.Prak wrote:I don't particularly find it amusing, since I saw a point made about it by someone I follow on Facebook before I really knew anything about the joke itself-

I'm genuinely torn here. On the one hand, I don't have the energy to muster up a vitriolic rant. On the other hand, that's really fucking dumb.Prak wrote:I don't particularly find it amusing, since I saw a point made about it by someone I follow on Facebook before I really knew anything about the joke itself-

He does have a point. And if you were specifically making the joke to someone whom you know lost family to the Zodiac, it would be tasteless.Prak wrote:I get Kaelik's take, but I still think that Randy has a point. I don't know, I've got other shit I'm overreacting to tonight.
How do you know he was born in 1970? Has he released his birth certificate????Prak wrote:A third of respondents know nothing about either, then, because Cruz was born in 1970, two years after the beginning of the Zodiac Killer's activity.
