How much more dangerous would the Tarrasque be with flight?

Let's say 60 speed (average) to make it slightly better than some existing spells such as Overland Flight. And it can charge while flying, too.

Not much. Unless your plan was to drop rocks on it from above.

That is usually the plan. So yeah, if you give it flight, its CR goes above 5.

And orbiting fricking sharks with fricking lasers on their heads.

I prefer the idea of a flying Tarrasque with orbiting mini-Tarrasques with fricking lasers on their heads - keeps in theme better.

Up to 20d6. 1d6 for the first increment (20-70 feet, depending on weight), plus d6 for every 10 feet (which should probably be per increment, but that requires multiplying numbers). So assuming infinite 1 pound rocks, you need to fly at 260 feet.

To measure how impressive that is, I will note there is a level 1 spell (Launch Item - Magic of Faerun) that will move an object up to 400 + 40/level feet.

Flying obviously has other benefits, but the offense is "pretty good, for damage."

The Tarrasque needs a stupid over-the-top breath weapon, something like 100 mile range death beam that that annihilates anything in its area of effect (maybe if you make your save you take "only" 1000d6 damage).

That monster class project from Brilliant Gameologists has a take on Ol' Terry that gives him some proper devastation. Still a bit silly like the rest, though.

The problem is that for a normal person, the horizon is about 3 miles away. The Tarrasque is taller, so he can see further, but not usually 100 miles.

And of course, D&D does 10' spot penalties, so seeing even 1 mile away is basically impossible.

The Evolution stuff was interesting, but oh dear god untill he gets his final ish form the cgi is atrocious . . And as a die hard fan of the old godzilla, i did not appreciate the lightshow lasers from his back . .

It should be like using a dragon's breath weapon or lightning bolt -- it's a fixed area, not a ranged attack. Spot penalties don't matter.

The exact range doesn't matter, it should just be very, very large beam attack.
