I'm going to dig out the 'Designation' mess here and point something out. Until now, magic and tech in SR didn't mix. You couldn't use tech with magic, and magic with tech, except for a few minor tricks, like the Aura Camera, or those awakened plants making up a Barrier. Designate breaks that barrie...

Hermit, Netherwalking involves a lot of risk, and it would even in SR. There's no astral corruption, but passing through shifting background counts would be painful, i think.

Meh. Let's just dig the ax, and get back on topic? Though on the other hand, let's don't that. It's a silly place.
War! sucks badly enough for fans to make their own alternate version. That's pretty much enough.

Maybe. But that was in bad taste anyway. And remember - this is an international forum, so i didn't know who you are. And i didn't have any context to work with.

The thing is, that despite what any Polish citizen would tell you, Malbork/Marienburg is as Polish, as it was German. Almost as much of it's time it was in Germany/Preussia/The Order, as in Poland.

Frank, you'd be surprised how much can one astrally projecting mage read from enemy soldier auras. Morale, mood, and such. Plus how much cyber/bioware they have. And when they get into the command post... Heh. :D

I know LDS cats like to stack the deck with other Mormons, but is anyone besides Bills confirmed as a "special underwear" man? Hey, man, what do you have against cats? What did they/we* ever do to you? And maybe stop arguing about nazis here, guys. Make a separate thread and move it there...

I assume any military vehicle gets warded, and astral space is full with watchers as early warning system, with spirits in reserve or guarding locations and assets. Not enough resources for that. One average magician per platoon is a very good proportion, when you look at the Awakened to Mundane ra...

Frank, we still call it Marienburg. Well, that's the city's True Name. The one under which it was created(and spent most of it's days). I don't know, it just feels right. Yeah, you say 'Malbork' when you talk about it with people, but that's just so they won't get confused... Besides, Marienburg and...

Drakensang? Really? I mean it totally sucked as a computer game. Really? Show me another game that had such great scenery? And i'm not talking about tha 'two sets of blocks disguised as a city', or a 'five shacks disguised as a village' kind. Places you visit in Drakensang are like real. You see le...

Uhm, guys, Godwin. Yeah, i know h's hanging around this topic for a while, but i think you're overdoing it. I'm almost sure there are no nazi sympathies there. Just borderline ignorance. Not that it's better, but at least that can be fixed, hopefully. C'mon, how much can an average gamer from the US...

Yeah, that was a bit too much for me. I get using a THOR shot as a GM's fiat for something really really bad (like a hive that the players manage to find, infiltrate, and then get out before the blast). But as something you can just buy? C'mon. Less rulemongering, more logic.

Oookay. Count that as a Power 6 Chaotic World spell affecting me now. Anyone would care to explain?

P.S. I know German well enough to get it, but with no context? Not possible.

Well, i'm biased not because of being polish. More like because of knowing history and political sciences. Russia will be a BBG for a long time, if they continue to do what they're doing, and they raped the hell of each country they had their claws in - Poland and Germany were lucky having no 'tanks...
