A question about souls...
So, I've read the Tome of Fiends, and also Frank's review of the BoED where he complains quite a lot about redeeming enemies being pointless because souls are not permanent and both sides of the alignment fight use the souls of failures as street lamps and tea cups. What I want to know is, where did...

Re: Zombie survival game based off of the Shadowrun 4E Engine
Anyone know of any projects similar to this? Heck, I think you could straight-up port Shadowrun 4E to the genre, as long as you put some kind of limitations on mages and made it clear up-front that deckers aren't going to be equally useful in every game. Granted, the resulting project would be more...

Oh, right. Friendship is Dragons. I gotta be honest- anytime they specifically mention 4e mechanics, it makes me wonder why the hell I read it. To be fair, the entire thing is a giant fucking stupid railroad, so 4e is the best reflection of that, because the ponies can only deviate from the railroa...

as the DM i would realize that the populace has no income to pay for anything and thus the idea is pointless as the kingdom wants taxes more than it does products to sell, so keeping the peasants on their backs so you can walk on them is worth more than the effort in this. Actually, it's more along...

Makes me wonder how much christianity benefited from being associated with a healer type (seeing as most people see someone who can cure wounds and diseases as a 'good' person). And what the general opinion on nature would have been like if they got it instead. Well, keep in mind that the concept o...

What has to be recognized is that the fighter is an incomplete concept. By contrast, the paladin is a pretty strong concept, a crusading knight of justice and chivalry with all the trappings of the Knights of the Round Table and the Twelve Peers. Paladin is the class you take if you want to play Si...

Well...regardless of how if Fighters go pass ten, I can think of one GTFO ability which comes up that generally screws fighters. Flying. Specifically, flying + ranged. The Spoony One devoted an entire Counter Monkey episode to describing how dragons can abuse this: http://spoonyexperiment.com/2012/0...

(It doesn't matter how strong the central body is...tell me how strong its wings are. Do you really need to destroy the wing entirely to render it useless, or just...hit the ...

Ow. Go get some advil. ----- I actually found the sheets for the BBEG. I have a couple of versions on the computer. Here's one of the feat progressions, I can't remember whether it was the final, because it's been a couple of years and the memory is the first thing to go. x's indicate normal feats....

Actually...the more I think about it, the more it makes sense that the Celestials would fight on the Material Plane. See, I had a funny idea. Why would the Celestials fight each other if it could ever be avoided? I mean, its even stupid that the FIENDS fight each other if they have any self-interest...
