Re: Power Scale of Magic Items
Handed out treasure completely bypasses the iconic item rule, seeing as that rule only effects item creation; and like I said before, if you don't like the rule then you don't need to implement it, it won't make a noticeable difference.

Re: My new YouTube Hobby
Huh? Are you talking about the flash version of Portal? I thought that was a good puzzle game, but maybe that's because I didn't realize you could pick things up until level 48 or so.

Re: Power Scale of Magic Items
And that's fine, under the BoG rules, you can totally do that; it'll just be slightly less effective than a vorpal sword.

Re: Power Scale of Magic Items
It's this way because a Codpiece of True Seeing is a stupid item, and this system discourages stupid items without disallowing them or making them really terrible compared to less stupid items.[br][br]Freedom+encouragement to have a character without really stupid items=satisfaction[br][br]At least ...

Re: Races of War
Correct. Weapons that were Two-handed in 3.5 are medium sized objects, except maybe that giant stick covered in antlers that shows up in It's Cold Outside, the Suiglin I think, that might be large. All the one handed weapons that I can think of are small sized objects, and the light weapons are eith...

Heheh, I ended up getting changeling, which makes at least a modicum of sense since I'm a bit of a social chameleon, but the flaws don't really fit me. If I had to pick three flaws out of those thus far listed they would be Cynical, Self-centered, and ...erm...perhaps Trivial. Yeah I guess my intere...

Re: Races of War
Anything that's roughly as long as you are tall and with a little weight to it is medium, anything about half that size is small, anything half of that size is tiny. Anything significantly bigger than you are is large or larger and you can't wield it.

I wasn't casting aspersions on your character, I was mearly mentioning that the game that the others have extremely limited knowledge about has not occurred at this time. No offense intended.

Only idiots vote solely on whether a candidate is republican or democrat.
In the last Senatorial/Gubernatorial election I voted for a republican senator(who lost) and a democrat governor(who won).

I was on oxycodone after I had rhinoplasty to correct a deviated septum caused by a car accident, and let me tell you, oxycodone is not a fun drug to be on. Made me feel absolutely horrible in a variety of ways. I got off the damn things as soon as I could stand the pain.

I've got a goblinoid empire in the east. An evil decadent Elven empire just to the west of them near the center of the continent, a swamp where the lizardfolk live jammed in between the northen halves of the two empires. A great inland sea to the west of the Elven empire. An expansive plain to the w...

Re: Ben 10, Polymorph, Class Balance and Race & Party Roles
Gwen and Gramps could indeed be easily powered up to Ben's level. Gwen's magic and almost black belt level fighting abilities already will leave her fairly equal in combat with Ben in most cases, maybe she could use a physical buff or two to cut down on her vulnerability. Gramps has been shown to bu...
