I started, and finished, the Breaker. It is a Shounen manga, so I was worried that it wouldn't be to my liking, but it starts off with making you like the characters, and some jokes, and then gets to the zombies and martial arts. Oh, and I'm pretty sure that the person writing this has never studied...

Knight Run... I usually don't pick up ongoing things because I get to the end of what is currently written and feel miserable for a while, but this sounds/looks cool enough to give it a try. I assume you mean the one written by Kim Sung-min? Correct. I can't do it. It has a bunch of fighting for a ...

So, I just started watching Ghost Hunt.... And the jokes are completely lost in the English dub... Whoever did that should be kicked in the balls, and then have their kneecaps removed. I mean, they just start laughing when John starts talking and don't make any mention of his accent, which was the w...

Tons of work lately so I have been slow on this. Battlelust: Irikara heretics get stronger as they take more injuries. For every 15 hit points lost, he gains +10 to his movement speeds, +2 to attack rolls, and deals an 1d6 of damage with each successful melee attack. when he falls below 50% hit poin...

If you don't particularly care that the RPG in question is definitely not the cream of the crop, Pokemon Tabletop Adventures is actually the game with the least prep time possible. Why? Because of this: http://pokemontabletopadventures.com/ It's a website that generates pokemon based on any input y...

If you are willing to download it, there is a wheel of time 3.0 clone. And it also has a premade adventure. On top of that, there is the fact that lots of people have read and enjoyed those books, and know what the world is like, so you can easily introduce people to the game. I've run the adventur...

Is there any reason you couldn't have multiple responses on a card? A good character might choose the 'good' response or the 'other' response on each of their cards. A neutral character could choose the 'other' response or the 'alignment' response... I don't know how that'd work logistically? Since...

Andrei your tags are broken somewhere. Also Battlelust is begging for abuse. Don't do that. I can change how it works, but getting better for having less hp is something that isn't leaving. I suppose I could instead give them a few maneuvers that they can pick from at each hp tier. And, now that I ...

Well, what I have decided to go with is keeping the Egypt themed version, and I am tweaking my Ares prestige class to match that, calling it Irikara heretic. Because for some mysterious reason I want a flying race-specific prestige class for Ares. Incorporating a bunch of fear effects into the class...

So, completely redid them into an Egyptian themed thing that most of you will hate. Given I'm a slight fan of Hawkman/Hawkwoman from DCAU, I think its fine and cool conceptually. For races, I think its cool they have scaling options per level. However they do seem a bit strong for a race, especiall...

Aeries (Race)
The Irikara According to Irikara legend, the world was created by two birds, Irik and Ara. The first of their kind formed were Thoth and Horus. When those to deities took flight, their feathers fell to the ground, and became the first Irikara. They call themselves Irikara to honor the creators of t...

For clarity maybe, but once the need for a standard action is lifted, then they just have a fly speed, which is used with move actions according to the rules.deaddmwalking wrote:When describing the action to fly, you should specify what action flying is after 3rd level. Re: naming issues Cribbing from mythology is always a popular choice. From this Wikipedia article , we get some possibilities: Harpy Tengu Garuda/Karura Mercurian/Hermaphrodite Aquilan (too similar to Howard) Swift Valkyrie (too much baggage) Manu Out of all of them, I kind of like Swift for (1) be...

If you want a better, or at least, less... unfortunate name for the race, might I suggest Aeromen. It's still kind of dumb, but at least it doesn't have phonetic similarities to Aryan. I've been playing around with a few. - Aeries. You get the bird nest thing with all of the fun puns. - Something t...
