No it's not.

The #1 stat is dodge. Get over 100 % and you're basically untouchable. The armor made by the smith is one of the best items for that.

Enslaving people by talking should obviously be like casting a spell otherwise there will always be a double standard.

It's really a shame that 5e has continued the long tradition of trying to make tabletop RPGs for computer RPGs. K, How would you distinguish and separate between the two types?
