Explain. Two studies were cited. One offered a choice between 6 and 30 (or was it 24?) options. 6 had the more favorable results. The other offered 6, 12, and 30 (or was it 24?) options, with 12 as the favored option range. Considering that within the context of this thread you've proven yourself a...

In Mass Effect there are times when some portions of the screen are not filled with boobs. The neglect is palpable.

Anyone who can get a job writing rpg modules and do it well could just get a job that pays a lot better doing something else. Its no surprise that the best writers are not churning out modules.

If you love the idea of WoF then it's fucking time to put up - post your variant on IMOI, and defend it. Since you and DC have put something together for Millhouse Manastorm my quick thought is: self combos in WoF will piss me off. A lot of those abilities seemed to power up if your previous WoF re...

If I collected the most prolific posters from TDG I'd be worried about a fist fight breaking out. The people here have no particular consensus about what a game should look like and no interest in doing what they're told. I think DC and TF were being generous. This is the worst idea since Elennsar's...

Vampire was a good game on the PC, the MMO can canab from that for players. An MMO is about getting a big enough IP to form an initial sales base. Then you make levelling interesting and long enough to give you time to actually build an end game. Thats what WoW did.

Any time you ban something you hand control of its production and supply to criminals. There always needs to be an analysis of cost to benefit and one of the costs is giving bikie gangs an easy income source.

I think I've been the real champion of this line of reasoning, and this is a fair counter-criticism. I just feel like encouraging system mastery in play is an important component of a good game, and not something predominantly displayed during strategic char-gen. I agree, hence my preference for Th...

There is a wage gap. The wage gap between men and women in the same position with the same seniority has dropped to nearly nil, but there's still a significant wage gap in overall society because jobs dominated by women are generally lower paying than jobs dominated by men. To be fair while the man...

1) "That criticism applies to all systems therefore its invalid to bring it up" This is patently false since a criticism could apply in greater or lesser degree. People going on about maneuver balance are proving the point nicely. WoF is more resistant to changes in ability power than Ches...

Personally I thought the old Broad Classes thread had the right idea. Your class should tell people the general theme of your character. It shouldn't be like the fighter and give you nothing more than a combat role.

If they don't accomplish work they don't exist for long. This is actually untrue. Systems that have zero purpose routinely last for years. Well no, not necessarily. It's likely that persona encoding is a specialized language like HTML, which in itself does not contain the functionality to edit files, it's simply a data format that describes graphics and animations. Just like you can't virus a modern computer by getting it to display a...
