I've always found a god going "STOP WASTING SPELLS" ends clerics indescriminantly raising people.

Dude, this sight exists to justify powergaming and bitch about how much people hate d20. It's where I go to get my dose of crazy (also RPGPundit is good for that.)

Re: Threads that make us Laugh, Cry, or Both

Normally, to use a wand, you must have the wand’s spell on your class spell list. This use of the skill allows you to use a wand as if you had a particular spell on your class spell list. This use of the skill also applies to other spell trigger magic items, such as staffs. [br]So right here it lay...

Portable traps

I'm playing an invisible thief and am looking for some portable traps to toss in combat, so I don't have to worry about losing my invisibility. I've got caltrops, but haven't found much else. GM's kind of a by the book type guy, so if it can be found in a book somewhere, that's better.

So unless you have high level wizards getting whatever they want, you don't need to worry about 'wish and the economy', is that what I'm hearing?

I'm still not getting this.[br][br]I've heard people say that the wish economy represents literature, but in books, its dangerous to bind demons to grant wishes. Re: What is the wish economy?

What has confused me, has been that you can buy 9th level scrolls, but items that a 3rd level character can produce (mantle of energy resistance) are illegal. NPC's have to have some means of gaining experience, and there are significantly more of them at 3rd level then 17th, so shouldn't the econom...
