http://www.academia.edu/4066522/ILL_MAK ... TELEVISION has the full text. It's not an especially long read; a good chunk of that 75 pages is tables and appendices.

Anyway, having read it, I stand by my Fuck You.

Lucas winces at the wail, and covers an ear with his free hand. The noise drives him back against the wall, and when the fruits hatch, he is the first to head back through the tunnel.

Shouting over the ringing in his ears, he says, "I have oil, let's kill it with fire!"

Just take 20 levels of Beguiler instead. It's an illusion/enchantment wizard except better and super beginner friendly. You don't have to worry about picking the right spell, because you have automatic access to your entire spell list at all times. No dumpster diving needed, the class just has every...

Lucas holds his lantern off to the side when the Bro comes in for a hug, careful not to singe the creature. Still a little light headed from the spores, he follows through the hole.

"Stairs that lead up? Like a stairway to, to heaven, man. We should go up those stairs. Yeah. Up. Stairs. Upstairs." Lucas starts giggling to himself, but is otherwise ready to follow the others to the monolith.

I love it when people force the entire universe into two groups: their own faction, and the grotesquely evil faction that everyone who doesn't agree with them swears allegiance to. If people really wanted to stop rape, they wouldn't be trying to change how men behaved. They'd be trying to change ho...

Lucas jerks back at the noise, causing his lantern to shake and everyone's shadows to slide and jump across the walls. Once he recovers, though, he is glad to see another skeleton destroyed. He attempts to peer over or around the block, to see how much of the corridor is blocked.

Oh, I wasn't talking about rules disputes. I mean genuine house rules, like "draw a free card whenever you play a land" or "players start at 50 life" or "graveyards are only for creatures". People had some crazy takes on the game back in the day. But when the pro tour g...

Tournaments are a big part of moving players from "oh I played that" to "oh I spent a fortune on that" which is obviously important. But the importance of rules seriously will spill over into casual games. Back in 1994, different magic groups had a huge variety of personal house ...

You can give people bigger numbers at higher level if you want. If players can get an AC bonus from magic spells OR a shield, then not everyone will have a shield. That's true even if the bonus starts at +2 and rises to +10 with levels. But if they can have a magic spell AND a shield, then everyone ...

(Yeah, Lucas entered the room as soon as the others showed it to be safe. No way was he waiting alone in the hall.) "Is there something out there?" Lucas asks, wondering how the door came closed on its own. He listens at the door to try to hear if there is any noise from the corridor. Then...

Lucas follows the others, with his lantern. Since he doesn't want to dissolve in a puddle of acid, he waits for them to check the room before joining them at the shrine.
