Nah. He got my attention, all right. Though I don't really understand why he couldn't use private mail. Unless, getting forum's attention and public shaming is something he is more interested in, than someone's quoting preferences. ubernob: 1. I'm not writing (long) replies in browser since forever....

> That should be the benchmark for every combatant class without a lot of inherent magic. Benchmark for every combatant class without a lot of inherent magic is called Tome of Battle. Paizo doesn't have the balls or the brains (imo - both) to make their own version or something better. Which is why...

> Do you know how many pro-western politicians are there in Russia? Like a handful. Lots, many? Exact number would be helpful. Also, a definition of a politician in Russia. Because I sincerely doubt the numbers are so low. Most of Yeltsin's people are (essentially) pro-western. Even Putin could be ...

Almost every western or pro-western politician (or journalist or celebrity or anyone ) has the same public opinion about Charlie Hebdo. You'd need an army to follow-up on even fraction of death threats they are getting or claim that they are getting. But Nemtsov alone (who is not French or Muslim or...

> Like, overland flight, prot v arrows, stoneskin, minor globe, and a wand of fireballs and then entire English army just dies. And all of this should be done not on a battlefield, but far away from it, at 4 am, when enemy army is soundly asleep. I.e. ICBM mode. Wizards fly in, wizards cast spells,...

You mean low-level Wizards sucking at a huge battlefield, because they've been designed for (relatively speaking) short-range skirmishes with few opponents? Or was that catgirl massacre of Illusion spells? Because I certainly didn't post my ideas about RPG systems or XP/levels for GM. Yet. [ insert ...

> Given the absence of a rule saying that distance makes it easier to disbelieve illusions, I think that's bullshit. You know, it is hilarious to hear about absence of rules dealing with long-distance illusions from you. Of course there are no such rules. But if you are adding rules that make illus...

That sounded like Archivist can't get any spells without GMs intervention, making him absolutely useless. Except Archivist still gains cleric spells during level-up. He might not be as badass as real cleric (or druid), and unlike wizard he has to choose from the weaker spell list (making him weaker ...

FrankTrollman: If it's studying with intention to ferret out illusions, it is an attempt to disbelieve, no? In any case I don't really understand what is your problem with the word. It is correct that passing saving throw against illusion would do nothing. But passing it and communicating result to...
