Are they limited to their spells alone? Because their biggest value is probably activating arcane scrolls and wands 100% reliably. Lago why are you assuming a population where wizards are as rare as navy seals, West Point Valedictorians and Nuclear Power engineers? This thread spawned from the other...

3 square miles gets you 1920 acres which is more than enough for 600 cows or pigs. 6 vampires require 30 points of blood per month for survival. Draining one point of blood from the cows/pigs each month would give a surplus of 480 blood points. 80 bp for everybody a month. Or we alternate the blood ...

AH was pooling certain backgrounds a yea or nay? It seems to just be a nWoD thing so if not then no problem. Just wanted to ask. Everyone having resources seems wasteful. As a coterie/government for at least 6 months it'd be better if we could allocate some points to our collective resources and the...

Well no, not really. That's less than 1 per state per year. Making it look like a dog got them is still going to attract attention and get animal control involved and investigating. I'm imagining more like if one of our animal soldiers kill someone. Or their behavior just makes the kine suspicious....

Nonsense. Football is a frivolity in both worlds. With the right marketing, wizards could be persuaded to put down plenty of money on tickets to watch people employing that truly useless attribute, muscle, for the wizards' amusement. Right. That's one of those shit jobs for people idiots ...

I suppose society would belong to the intelligentsia even more than our world. Who would give a shit about getting good at football when good grades equal infinite cosmic power. Isn't this the whole fantasy behind the book learning wizard? If it's DnD magic the world would be stratified by the level...

Pathfinder's Psionics Unleashed has a decent enough Soulknife. You get a d10, 4 skills, 2 good saves, full BAB, a better mind blade, the ability to take a talent for another +1 with the Mind Blade, some roundabout bonus feats and another die of Psychic Strike and some other shenanigans. Eventually ...

I'm not familiar with Gargoyles in WoD so I was just going by the wiki. I didn't know that about the wings. Also never heard of the Forever Knight TV show... or read any Anne Rice novels come to think of it. Flying guy is still a masquerade breach in public though. Pair with Obfuscate? EDIT: Possibl...

According to the wiki in Revised Wings grew as a function of Visceratika which Cainites CAN learn as unlikely as the fluff makes it. Flight as it's own discipline says it is Gargoyle only and Cainites can't learn it if anything like Protean is available to them. But why do you want to do this? Wings...

This reminds me of an Eberron thread on WOTC forums years ago. I also thought about it a lot when cantrips and orisons became at will in Pathfinder. Prestidigitation gets you dishwashers(that can also change the color of your clothes.) and washer/dryers and hair coloring devices and hair dryers and ...

Having now read through most of the paths many seem completely unplayable for PCs. Path of Lilith (got from the wiki so maybe it's not accurate) has shunning pain or anguish as a level 1 sin. Level 2 is FAILING to dispense pain and anguish. There is not a second of the day (well night) I could not b...

I'm picking Tremere as I'm going to be a technomancer instead. Being able to mindsurf the internet and remote hack anything sounds cool. Life's a bit chaotic at the moment, but I'll try to sit down and build a sheet soon. That's great. The conspiracy needs someone that can handle the technological ...

The biggest drawback of joining the Cam is getting bossed around and this scenario seems like it will minimize that so it seems the benefits of being Cam outweigh the negatives. Ive got no problem being a cape. I think ingame and out we should make a compact against any internal fuckery. Id rather w...

Will this be because the Camarilla is different in your setting? Less powerful? Less rigid? Or because we can shake things up even if it horrifies the Cam? Are we expected to be in the Camarilla? If we are the only vampires in the city what's the purpose of Elysium going to be for us? Are we expecti...

Seems you've got plenty of interest in this game. It sounds very interesting. I'd love to play an amoral lawyer. Every group needs an amoral lawyer with an evil law firm behind them. That or a mad scientist/necromancer with control over hospitals/morgues and mortuaries. Somebody has to deal with the...
