Re: I think Wizards just added more to the [Awesome] Tag...
Probably not. The opportunity costs of RPG-writing often get people in the end.

But according to Frank's statistic, there are only whites and blacks in America... so, problem solved- there are no other minorities.

Pretty much what I was going to say. The goal of Ultimate Power is another fallacy of Stupid Evil.

Its also assuming the presence of Stupid Evil or as I tend to think of it, Dragonlance Evil. Though I feel like I'm repeating myself when I do. Oy. Someone needs to be set on fire. First for the pointlessly obnoxious restrictions, then for the TeenyBopperMelodrama writing style, and finally just for being bloody stupid and thinking that was a good idea.

They said no (and I use that loosely, because I haven't actually seen anyone produce a quote with a Wizard's guy saying 'Fourth edition is not happening' rather than a general denial) because companies don't talk about future releases before they're ready to announce it. It tends to impact sales of ...

What, that crap? That shit only existed because the major comic book companies bent over and let the McCarthy communist paranoia-inspired Comics Code sodomize them on a regular basis.
For fvcking decades.

Right. And killing the folks that want to kill your people is making that 'better difference'. Because then they aren't killing you. But seriously, maybe its the subset of comics I read as a kid, but largely, they didn't do that. [br][br]Maybe its me, and my dislike of missionaries (since, well, the...

Well, it could be insane... but not the 500 or so points implied if it was the first round of combat. However, I'm sure by the first year or two of expansion books there will be enough loopholes to pull it off if you do it right.

But superheroes don't do that either. They just beat the villain up, and then let him go so they can sell more comics. They don't try to make the villain a 'better person'

But thats just it, it wouldn't be totally Evil. The biggest problem I have with the Exalted Furries book (nice one, btw), is that it tries to shove this bizarre modern absolutist version of 'Good' that isn't even appropriate to any setting they shove it in. Except possibly, planescape, but even then, with essentially infinite planes, infinite cul...

Re: Heads Explode!
The 4 fighter party is *awesome*. I especially like the bits on crafting, trapfinding and healing- a sure sign someone isn't even passingly familiar with the system.
And the fact that the 'point buy' system he's using translates to a 50 point buy under the standard rules... wow.
