Re: Some lessons D&D should learn from the Teen Titans

PS, you do know there is two translated TV series of One-Piece running concurrently, right? Shonen Jump's One Piece is random segments from 'their adventures' and is a different series than the One Piece which we get in two pieces (ironic, yes?) on Cartoon Network, yes?

Re: "Party Composition and Social Skills"

None of this balances the party.

Nor does Frank answer why six stats is worse than five, aside from theatrics.

Actually, stats are salvagable.[br][br]But only if they mean the same thing to everyone - no one stat is better than another.[br][br]Having one caster type per stat is fine - except when one stat says 'you get lots of skills' and the other stat says 'you get to make spot checks better' and the last ...

1122078295[/unixtime]]The bottom line is that you wouldn't allow a 1st level character to blind a 20th level fighter by throwing sand in his eyes, so you shouldn't let a 1st level illusionist do that either. Girls dig Giant Robots.[br][br]We'll never get to see real episodes of One-Piece and Tokyo Mew Mew as long as they have them. Re: Interacting with Figments& Glamers

Then, if an illusion (figment) isn't just a trick of the mind, then it really is light and sound, and shouldn't it be an evocation?

And if it really is light and sound, why are you making a will save to disbelieve it?

Why does everyone's suggestions always delve into 'remove all the fun stuff, give all the toys to the fighter'?

How come no one has ideas like making Paladin spellcasting stack with Sorcerer?

Boo.

I actually sit there for six hours and watch everything from Teen Titans to Paranoia Agent.

Of course, my new TV allows me to watch the latter in 16:9. ^-^

Re: Quick and Dirty d20 Spellcasting Tweaks

Geez, you'd think I'd gutted the class. How is a spell-less Druid now less powerful than a Ranger or Monk or Fighter? They all get abilities every level.

Anyhow, that's not the point. The point was 'how do you deal with spellcasting?'

Re: Outsiders, Undead, Powers, and the "logic" of the outer

I rather liked how in Chinese/Japanese mythology, undead are any corporeal/incorporeal dead people; and the corporeal ones are supported by some spell or other... I have to agree with Kitten Corrigan, Murtak.
