And you didn't even fucking notice , because it doesn't hurt the game that they are gone. I was agreeing up to this. Not having decent rules for pike walls and artillery actually does hurt the game, if you think the game can happen outside of a dungeon. Actually, pike walls don't fit with the resol...

winged humanoids are far more able to get through doors than centaurs. Let's say i had wings that tripled my shoulder widith when folded. I could still fit through the smallest door in my house. Admittedly, i'm thin, but that's without walking diagonally, which is important because one of the small ...

Um, you do know that the video with actual turning involved a horse explicitly described as not full grown? and the turn consisted of walking in a circle? If you have problems with patches we may have to step outside. He is more than adequately large for the centaur factory. But failing that, relat...

Okay, so your attacks have 0% miss chance (but so do that of any opponent) shooting at you and enemies can throw you into the ethereal plane. Naaaah. I think I'll go for not being able to be thrown into the ethereal plane. Particularly since the idea that if something is not in contact with you, it...

The second one had a tightish turn, but with a horse that had apparently yet to stop growing. The turn in the first one is unclear due to the camera angle. also with a small horse. Also, on the wing folding: actually, at least one semi-relistic wing folding for a winged humanoid also only about doub...

Also, note the bat picture. those wings are folded up to a small portion of their length. Actually, wings in general do that. http://gukurup.files.wordpress.com/2007/02/bird-2.jpg See how small an area those wings occupy? Winged humanoids have a different body structure, but folded wings still would...

It's literally the later picture with legs stapled on. Hydralisks can turn into lurkers, which are hydralisks which can use spikes from below instead of shooting posion darts and furthermore is the same length and twice the total width, counting legs that bend enough to make it not much wider. It ca...

The only zerg even close to truck size that walks wouldn't fit anywhere without making holes.

I'd seriously rule that you can't meaningfully jump underwater, but i don't know if it says so anywhere.

So you switch from a giant crab the size of a truck to a worm the size of a couple of guys, slow clap for that one Frank, it proves nothing but the fact that you can't consistently prove a damn one of your specious claims. The lurker is a mutant hydralisk. in fact, it looks like the lurker in the p...

Ah, okay. As for ghost stabbing...I'm assuming ghosts like the "only influence the dreams" or something where physical interaction is not required. If they can physically interact with the material world but the material world can't interact with ghosts, those ghosts are awesomely powerfu...

actually, i picked the drawback because it fit thematically with one of the drawbacks suggested:
Your flesh becomes pale and translucent when you hold the blade, as you are half in the ghost-world.

I think that your schtick shouldn't be able to beat someone higher level if they're trying to counter your schtick and know what they're doing. otherwise you're talking rock-paper-scissors balance in a game where people only have one character.

And in how many things do ghosts that you even slightly care about lack the ability to hurt you?

I gave the set people on fire example already. i've also seen possession, TK, freezing aura, freeze touch, and damaging shriek. In places other than DnD.

Except that it isn't, because you don't need the sword for the ghosts to do 1d4 con with a touch attack

Yeah, ghosts often are able to actually set people on fire, and said people are SOL unless they've got magic help.

Now, you might prefer less of a disadvantage, but anyone with half a brain would like that, but that's not good for game balance.

No, because it means you can hurt them, but they could always hurt you by touching you with the deathly chill of the grave.
