I rather like the Dragonmark feats. The RAW ones are too much of a waste of time and feats. Seriously.

Who said anything about husbands? Last I'd heard they were trying to get all women to do this, even prostitutes. That itself sounds like a pretty risky thing, especially in a developing area.

But I haven't kept up on the subject, so what do I know?

So, I bought a digital copy of your book. Sounds like it might be good... Edit: Just finished it. Enjoyed it thoroughly, and eagerly anticipate the sequels. Very reminiscent of L. Sprague deCamp's "Lest Darkness Fall", but very entertaining. I rather liked how you made the D&D mechanic...

In Canada (at least Ontario), we have a massive doctor shortage, since all the old docs are retiring. From what a friend has told me, our schools have insane standards for letting people in or something, which means we have lots of people who can't get in. And those who *do* get through usually go t...

I was talking with one of my DMs just the other day about this thread. One of the more interesting ideas was that maybe item creation feats ought to work like the Tome of Undead ones. Hopefully tie it into the Book of Gears style scaling items, too. Need to figure out something regarding XP, though....

Hilariously, he'll allow me (using an alt character) to reverse-engineer some grenades from a tanar'ri arms dealer we whacked. 5d6 force damage, Reflex half. Knocks you into walls for falling damage. Thus with enough of them, we can conceivably clear the damn monestary, one grenade at a time. But ye...

We have. Believe me, we have. Which makes the idea of a marillith hilarious, since there's 6 attacks in a round it can make, which makes the chance of rolling a 1 stupidly high, and if you add feats or manuevers to boost that, it just get worse. (We basically lost a sword a round, on our test) Serio...

Houserule #9: 09. Banned Spells- The "Wish" spell is off the spell lists for all classes. Most arcane magic involves poking the laws of physics into doing stuff for you; Wish involves grabbing the laws of physics by the throat, gutting them, tearing out their insides with your teeth, and d...

Yeah, but getting in and out would be tricky, so I was hoping to see if there was a way to simply acquire the bodies with a spell. Otherwise yeah, we'll go in there with troops and cut a path with my chainsword, powers, and righteous wrath.

Teleportation Spell Question

Seems a bit of a waste of a thread, but I'm not all that knowledgeable of spells in D&D (I play psionics). The dudes in my group are alright, but there's a shitload of spells printed and I'm not wading through if I don't have to. Basically, I was wondering what spells there are to retrieve objec...

A shame he dropped the ball on book 7. My DM and I were sorely disappointed. But then I do hear that ending things right is *hard*. Recently I was on vacation to the Dominican Republic, and went on a reading binge. Plowed through Frank Herbert's "Dune", Sergei whatever's "Daywatch&quo...

The most rage-worthy house rule I've encountered in one of my games is in our current Planescape game. Basically, any time you nat 1 an attack, you drop the fucking weapon. Not just miss, but DROP. I have even tried my damnedest in person (we're all online) to try and get it abolished, but he's set ...
