Re: Tome of Battle
Also, I don't think you got around to making fun of the Weapons of Legacy. [br][br]Do I look like some kind of masochist?[br][br]I took one look at them, and decided they wern't even the time to make fun of. They're just silly, bad ideas, that were bad when they were first introduced, and are still...

Re: Tome of Battle
Are they worth it, though? You need PP and manuevers. If you're primarily a psychic warrior, you're probablly better of just spending your feats on stuff like Improved Disarm, Cleave, Leap Attack, and what-not. If you're primarily a Warblade (or, whatever) you're going to need to take a level in a p...

[br] But seriously, random ability choicces every turn? As in, you "draw cards" to determine wat's in your "hand" every turn? [br][br]Pretty much, yes, only it's WORSE than that. This is for the defensive specialist class. A defensive class needs reliability - you need to know th...

Shadow Hand: Swordsage manuvers about stealth, deception, ambush, and what-not. Roguey stuff.[br][br]Assassin's Hand (3, Stance): Now we're talking! You get +2d6 sneak attack. God, there are a lot of manuvers in this book. I'm still slogging my way through. Book of 9 swords review
This is a book of nine swords review. Duh. For those who don't know, this book introducers 'manuvers', that are like spells for warrior-types, except they refresh after every encounter. To explain the terminology, a manuver is like a spell - readying a manuver is like preparing your spells, except y...

Re: Tome Series - Character Creation Thread!
Here's another character, this time a Knight. This one turned out the total opposite of the Samurai - little in the way of damage, but good luck trying to hurt her! Build-wise, it probablly would have been a better idea to have gone with Chaos Knight and bought a magical armor, to give her a slightl...

Conceptually I'm not quite so sure about having plate armor require 7 strength is such a good idea. [br][br]Thinking about it, I agree. Re: Post Your Questions to the D&D FAQ
That you need to charge directly toward the enemy. Then, how are you going to get past? You can't overrun on a charge in 3.5... that leaves very few options, which doesn't seem to be design intent.
