Wasn't this already possible in 3.5? I'm pretty sure there was a "Lesser" version of all the planar races with the only real difference between them and the standard being that you were humanoid(planetouched) or something like that instead of Outsider(Native). Fuck if I remember. At least...

Seasons 0 through 4 have a document outlining each scenarios secondary success conditions. Season 5 scenarios have it written in each individual scenario.

Faction missions have been cast to the wayside in favor of secondary success conditions. Some of these require successful skill checks, some are just gimmes. Some are ridiculously specific and rely on random chance more than anything.
