I never noticed the Druid was a female before, so that point is yours. Regarding the Paladin, my problem is with her armour. It may be a minor point to most but armour with breasts, for lack of a better term, is a really bad idea. That doesn't make it intentionally cheesecake though ... swords are ...

D&D editions made sweeping changes in alternate/additional rulesets in previous editions ... Pathfinder could/should simply do it's own version of Unearthed Arcana.

You do have an action point system, the "points" are "feet of movement" which clearly do not map 1-1 to the actually number of feet you can move How do they not map 1-1? In 6 seconds you can move up to your movement, seems pretty 1-1 to me ... so somehow a centaur can open a doo...

last time I read the playtest document, in D&D Next you had "actions" and "movement". As in you have one "action" and thirty "feet" of "movement". then attacking or casting a spell costs "an action", while moving five feet costs five &...

reading the story call of cthulhu I doubt the vessel that head on'ed cthulhu was even 10,000 tons, and it sustained no damage in the collision. To me it has always seemed it's the CoC players who play up the hopelessness angle to present their roleplaying as more mature than the juvenile powerfanta...

Maybe a producer stuck his dick in and said "here is the ending I want because we only have the CGI resources to do one," but there was obviously a serious creative breakdown of some kind at the end. Except of course it was Mac Walters who pushed through his vision for the end unimpeded (...

EA seems to have been experimenting somewhat with how tightly they can compress the schedules on a Bioware games ... but the direction the writing has taken is entirely on the heads of the writers.

Everyone hates it ... and they still don't seem to have any clue that what they did was wrong. To me it seems they don't have a single good producer left, their entire decision making has been taken over by writers (see the Penny Arcade post about how the ending came the be). Which is a recipe for d...

-Raising the system requirements on your RPG software with pretty 3d graphics and shit is retarded. A lot of people play RPGs on shitty computers. Re: Online Tabletop gaming

So how would you go about designing a tabletop game that was intended to be played over IRC rather than face to face? First off screw IRC. It needs to have a pretty 2D map with dynamic lighting, accurate visibility for players and 3D animated models (low poly ToEE style, this is not a ton of work)....
