Opera lets you watch the file size of a website as it loads. Wizards.com/dnd: 1.4MB Wizards Community: 1.1MB Wizards Community Blogs: 1.1MB For a website, this file size is gargantuan. The website design team seem to have no idea that this is the case. Their layouts are cluttered and their font siz...

HASBRO, first does NOT do customer research very well. Secondly does no research for WotC. WotC hires out to another company to do their surveys and give them the selective results they want, not entirely a full scope of the results of what the survey says, since it is self-selecting. I cannot argue...

What does a survey tell you about RPG players?
Sense the group here seems quite logical, and I have limited survey statistics knowledge, I figure someone here could answer this question spurred by my lurking on ENWorld... http://www.enworld.org/forum/general-rpg-discussion/265196-dragon-con-sight-schism-action-9.html#post4936026 Abciximab writes...

But if the adventurers can't just slap the town guard around, why are they the ones solving the fucking crimes and killing the manticores in the first place? In short, adventurers are acting as the law men of the town, if there are actual lawmen who are better than they are, their job doesn't exist...

I have seen grown men cry because a magic item got destroyed....tough titty said the kitty cause the milks gone dry. You...have seen...grown men...crying...over DnD? You must have an exceptionally strange group. I like a good table that gives equal chance for results. No DM interference cannot make...

Nothing to call someone a douchebag for. There are other things you could call Gary a douchebag for, but for DMing his game consistent? I would like to see more DMs not play favoritism in games, and be as universal in their decisions as this. Mr. Gygax's flaw is that he never connected the doucheba...

Actually no. You don't need to piss your credentials everywhere to discuss a topic on the internet. One reason there is no proof but your word that what you say is true. Anonymity has a funny way of making people on the internet out to be more than what they are, so check any of that at the door. Th...

I, for one, miss Gamer_Zer0. Why? All 37 of your accounts argued with him endlessly...oh wait..I just answered my own question. Was I the reason he left, or did he actually get fired in a cut-back where his abilities and job function weren't required anymore? I just wonder if/when they will ...

WotC's very own sit on my facebook and I'll twitter your myspace! Looks like it was built on some sort of early 90's design philosophy to just cram in flashy things to get people's attention that doesn't really work cause they just want to count page hits. The sad thing is that there's actually a s...

Well the archive does have all 7 issues of Strategic Review, as well as 250 issues of Dragon in it...at a buck each that is cheap for back issues. I think I got my copy for $40 and it came with a bonus Forgotten Realms Interactive Atlas. Just watch for it cause it has a tendency to pop up on occasio...

This guy?: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lenard_Lakofka What were his articles like? I would have to read every Dragon again to explain them but all the Leomund's Tiny Huts were good. They went into how to change classes, races, or anything about the game to tailor it to your needs. Say someone thou...

Shadzar, you have two characters, Bardy McBard the Charismatic, and Ugly McQuiet the Hated. A good system should involve Bardy McBard being better at convincing people of things than Ugly McQuiet regardless of which player is controlling them. There are people who are good at being convincing. Ther...
