Also, in the description of Defile, the bonuses denied should be " morale , sacred, and insight. Also, I'm pretty sure Book of Gears gets rid of the last two, but I suppose it's good to hold those names in case someone toys around with a [Tome] hybrid. You are wrong. Book of Gears got rid of t...

It's Mantle of Sin. I'd like to see more of these, because it appears that by level 20, all the blackguards are fondling each others shticks (even though there are only 7 deadly sins...). Also, in the description of Defile, the bonuses denied should be " morale , sacred, and insight. Also, I'm ...

Don't be stupid valor. He's saying that the positive aspects of guns, ie rapes and murders and robberies prevented outweigh the negative consequences that would be prevented by banning guns, ie fewer, but not all shooting sprees, murders, rapes and thefts. He may be wrong, and I don't know the stat...

PoliteNewb, did you just say that murderous rampages are OK because they're statistically insignificant? Did you also just say that it's not necessary to save human lives unless you're saving enough to change a graph by 5-10%? Seriously? Did you just say those things? Because that makes you fucking ...

I think this has degenerated to a "bad games are bad" thread... which I don't mind. I like to see all of the different types of awful games and game ideas being presented together. We should add more here.

Kaelik, give up. You know MGuy is right, but you're not willing to admit it. Disposition and actions both need to be considered separately.

thank you for pretending I'm stupid and that I have never read any other post you have made ever. Your point is, more or less, "3e is weaker than 2e. 2e is so much better." Your example is "I see people having fun with 2e. People playing 3e don't have fun." fectin said "I do...

shadzar, you made a point. fectin disproved it.

Therefore, you are wrong, and writing a bunch of "oh, duh, obviously" / "just as planned" crap does not help your case. 2e players DO sit with their thumbs up their asses. You are wrong.

shadzar, your extremes make me cry. Maybe what you meant to say is this: In the scenario with the following restrictions: 1. A fighter's environment allows him to contribute to combat (the opponent's are weak enough) 2. One or more of the players in the fighter's team can contribute to combat in the...

What I don't get is the lack of on-the-road transport. Like, girafarigs pulling a cart or something. Why don't we see that? After all, no sane person will want to walk from one side of a legitimately-sized Saffron City to the other.

I don't think you understand roleplaying. It's where you play a role. Like, the roll of the guy who CAN FLY TO THE MOON WITH HIS OWN MAGIC OR DESTROY A CITY WITH ONE OF HIS SPELLS. ...You know, I'd be perfectly willing to accept a DnD that allows this... as long as a Fighter of equal level can soak...

it's not that nobody likes it. It's that less people like it. I do believe that Gaming Conventions prove that. If there were people who were interested enough in 4e to leave 3.X behind, you wouldn't see 4e as the minority game at conventions. Done.

Publishing the spell lists which made roleplaying unnecessary in 3.X in lieue of simply having magic solve every problem in the world isn't a great argument. I don't think you understand roleplaying. It's where you play a role. Like, the roll of the guy who CAN FLY TO THE MOON WITH HIS OWN MAGIC OR...

I dunno, Krakatoa. Have you seen the 4e deathwatch thread? Stuff is declining like mad... especially after PF beat 4e in sales.

EDIT: Hmmmmmm I'm gonna guess you HAVE seen the thread, since you've commented in it like 6 times...
