I think I remember stuff about custom/variant spell appearances as early as 2eAD&D, which is as early as I go.

Reminds me of Brother Nursey, the healer-marine we had in our team to be played by the guy who didn't always turn up. When his player did turn up, he tended to roll incredible shots in firefights on top of being a great healer.

I did a google image search and just found people claiming or asking if it was real. I suspect that it is not.

Would having some sort of fairer election system encourage these massively different groups to stop pretending to be one party?

Didn't 40K go with some flavour of 'the old stuff is better' due to the (partial) collapse of civilisation? Given that, shouldn't the from-the-old-days traitor legions have better stuff (assuming in full function) anyway?

Re: needles: I find that deliberately looking in the other direction when having needles stuck into me, whether small ones for vaccines (Flu, once a year) or for blood for tests (more than once a year) helps.
