I really like the way you gave more to leadership then just getting a cohort. I also like the fact that there are many different ways to be a leader. here are the rest of my thoughts. I was wondering what these things mean: Your followers swell in number to that of an army. where do I find profit ch...

Where we came from
I was wondering a few things. I had found out the old posts on the history of the den, which explained why frank choose this to be his home. 1. Why was the Gaming Den established? 2. Why did everyone come here? sorry if this has already been covered but if anyone wants to direct me to the post that ...

Just to clarify I am using all of the core Tome materials for my game. I am trying to compile a list to summarize how/what they modified in the rules. That way my players have an easy reference, and can get to playing faster. Other changes of notes: Magic items Magic items in the work so differently...

A list of changes from 3.5 to Tomes
I was wondering if there is a summary of the changes from 3.5 to the Tomes? I am trying to put together a list for my players who are use to playing 3.5. I am not listing the changes that come into play with the wish economy, since the characters can't access it (game caps out at level 10) Some thin...

Thanks
I just wanted to say thanks. This has been both an amusing and educational. En garde, bitches: intro into ranting. The Kobold death feats just makes me love them even more, it also gave new life to a PrC I was working on. If you have any more posts that you think are worth knowing about please post ...

The Best of the Gaming Den
I was hoping to get people to post their favorite topics on the gaming den and say why they it is their favorite. This may sound juvenile, I am but a small wyrmling in the lair of many great wyrms. please in part some of your wisdom.

Monsters as character
so since the Drow noble (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/mons ... .html#drow) cr is based on it character classes, I can play one right out the door with no problem?
They seem to have made weres much more feasible (I didn't say good), since since it is now just a +1 LA to be a wereriding dog.

I know the system is not broke, but I would like to have all the mechanics on the table. Here is what I have been able to come up with. Simple Weapon +0 property Simple Weapons can only deal one damage type. i.e. clubs (bludgeoning), a stake (piercing), or a sickle (slashing) Simple Weapon +1 proper...

Anyone interested in meeting in Austin, Texas?
Since getting a game together may take a while, I was wondering if anyone would be interested in meeting up while we wait for Toz to get back?

positron
The protected role I envision for Blasters is being able to lower defense of their target, making it easier for other to damage their target. Fluff: Tyler Bonnie had a Doctorate in Lasers and was a hit pop singer who was accompanied by his phenomenal laser light show, he was considered the best ente...

clarification
I was wondering if someone could explain the differences between the attack types Mindcrush, Shadow, and Soulburn. Does frank even want us to use his old chart (the one with his toe next to it) for damage types?

I just want to make sure I understand what frank meant with "power" as one of the attack types. Is "power" a thing with a significant amount of force behind it that stays intact for the most part? For example getting hit by a truck would be considered "power", while get...

From what I can tell Mentalist specialize in controlling information (Psychic Interrogation, Psychometry, Techno-Invisibility, Static) and giving Edges/debuffs (Scan, New User, Cloud Thoughts, Shifting Shadows). Here is my take on the Bishops abilities, true he isn't doing any of it but he is still ...

So the cleric would see though Veil (basically making it not there for visual purposes) then would see a shadowy outline of a Hound Archon (because of polymorph) around the Howler, and the Howler itself would also be a shadowy outline. So would it be comparable to seeing a tinted window through a ti...

True Seeing vs Invisible Polymorphed Illusory Orcs?
Question: I was wondering what a cleric using True Seeing would see if an wizard used shadow conjuration to summon a Howler which was then polymorphed into a Hound Archon, then used Veil on it to make it look like a fire elemental? Greetings: Hello Gaming Den, I have been reading this forum for a ov...
