Well looking for maps means exactly that, making or finding maps to use in the adventure, since running combat without maps would be hard. Though if you want I can pass the combat onto you and take on NPC interaction if you agree to the map finding.

Myth Weavers but only for the purpose of playing in/running games. I don't actually post on their main forums. Same goes for any other 'rpg' sites.

When I actually want to discuss things seriously I come here.

Hmm, well this is pretty surprising. But I guess I should handle this myself. Anyway, the format is phb. Characters are at level ten. Ideally I need a DM to handle enemy creation, npc dialogue and map search. I will handle combat, the overall conspiracy and any questions the players might have regar...

As for your changes to crusader - I'm inclined to allow all those since Psions aren't that hot, EXCEPT that I don't believe in "per encounter" as a refresh mechanic so that is out. I could be persuaded that all Smite abilities, in the entire game, should be usable X times per foe , more e...

Cool then. I'm going to ask for a few changes to both classes as well as some extra material: Wilder - Psychic Enervation functions differently. Instead of getting dazed and losing power points, should psychic enervation strike you instead take a number of d8 damage equal to the Wild Surge boost. Su...

Like I said, one other character I'd like to play is a Crusader//Wilder.

Is that ok?

Thing is, I don't want to play the wizard//psion thing because of the mechanics. It is simply a very important point in the background of my character to be able to use psionics and magic at equal strength.

Dominicus - you are not allowed to be a Wizard//Psion. Probably this could be abused somehow, but mainly I find it dull. Also, when everyone gets to be a caster it is unfair to be the one person who can't beat an Orc in a punching match. Well since Tome stuff is not on the table I can kinda see you...

the same way that Wizard//Bard would be cheese. Sure, half your effects are lack lustre, but you have a bunch of awesome spells, and would be supplementing with mediocre spells. That makes no sense at all. Only things that can supplement a wizard side are passive things because all instances of the...

I don't even care that it is more useful against some creatures. Having a bonus to will saves from Iron Will is more useful against a mindflayer than a hill giant, so that is not even a valid criticism.

As for rewording, that is not my strong suit so I'll leave it to someone else.

Here is a better version of the blood knight. Blood Knight [Combat] This will hurt them more than it hurts you. Benefits: This is a combat feat that scales with your Base Attack Bonus. +0: As a swift action, you can sacrifice an amount of HP up to twice your BAB in order to gain that amount in bonus...

Don't misunderstand, I'm not saying what I am saying because I love Frank or something. I am saying it because normally on forums you get banned for calling out somebody for being a condescending fuck, so nobody every does it no matter how frustrating and insulting it is. But not on this forum. So I...

Yet he is the one advocating the system and explaining the mechanics. Standing behind something also includes arguing for its sake. Of course he is, he the publisher. I doubt he would say anything bad about the game. Now I am not saying that he is lying about him enjoying the game. I personally am ...

Speaking of the firemage, crazy fun class. I actually prefer to play the class stright up but slap my own homebrew Initiator feat on it picking Desert Wind. Especially once you get Holocaust Cloak you can just wade into melee and start taking hits as you watch your enemies burn themselves. In additi...

Umm, Dominicius, Simon is the publisher not the designer. Now I agree it does look like a condescending post. My problem is that there is there is a discussion about mechanics with some one who didn't even make them so there really is no point of continuing that line of dialog. Yet he is the one ad...

I vote no on the ToN, to be honest. Using tome stuff opens up a lot of doors that I don't think we want to go down- I don't think it would end well using the ToN and not anything else, and I don't know if we want a fully fledged tome game. Ok, last post, could everyone please stop with this retarde...

I'm kinda still hoping to get either the Firemage or the Tome of Necromancy.

Also, Kaelik is only pointing out the inconsistency in the setup, whether he wants to play is not really important.
