Mostly play on Arena and decided to give Historic a shot. I remember having fun in a draft with Rowdy Crew so I decided to build a deck around it. 4x Rowdy Crew 4x Quasiduplicate 4x Teferi, Time Reveler This is about as far as I've gotten. The idea here is that Rowdy Crew is card advantage, even tho...

Money by its very definition exists to be circulated. If the money printed via QE is never added to the economy as a whole then what was the point for its printing?

I can explain some of those reasons. What makes the dollar so resistant to inflation is simply because it has inherent value outside of US borders. It is the reserve currency of the world, thus most countries have a large stockpile of dollars stashed away (petrodollar is a thing). When you print a l...

Trump is a fucking billionaire. Going bankrupt is standard procedure in business because not all initiatives are going be successful. The real trial is then recovering from a failure and learning your lessons so that your next project can yield better results. So no matter how many times you call hi...

I agree with you on those points. Trump is primarily a real estate guy so when his solution to problem involves a massive construction project it is safe to assume that it is his buisness background speaking.

So just a quick question here as an outsider, I know the policies Trump stands for. He wants to stop illegal immigration, which is a good thing. He want to repeal Obama care, which I also believe should be done. And he is pro torture which I think is a foolish position to hold. But what positions do...

I guess I did not make myself clear here. I am specifically talking about games where you need to work together but you are also working with imperfect information.

AKA you do not know the contents of each others hands and need to use intuition and deduction to work together partner/partners.

Cooperative Game Design

So recently I've been thinking about some unexplored venues with boardgames. I know that with most card games, you get this competitive ruleset where one of the major skills to cultivate is the ability to "read" your opponent and use their patterns against them ie poker. But recently I've ...

Not really.

Right now I am just busy writing up the traps themselves but I might consider that idea for the Master Trapper PrC.

Mechanical Traps These traps can be forged by someone without the corresponding crafting feat. Most have a base work period of one day. Once a mechanical trap has been sprung it needs to be rearmed manually to be used again. CRAFT DC CHART Trap Portable or Stationary DC[/b] Bear Trap Portable (2 lb...

Trapmaking AKA Un-fucking D&D Traps

The fact that trapmaking in D&D is all kinds of messed up is not news. I will not waste time listing how it is a pile of ass but instead make an effort to write up a system that can actually see play. So here is what needs to be done: Crafting Feat and Craft (Trapmaking) Level appropriate list o...

Vian shrugs. "Sure."

He then gets back to using the spring to heal his wounds. After a few moments he felt the energy coursing through him, removing the marks the last battle has left upon him.

Vian rolls his one eye. "Assuming this is what we were looking for..."

He said before stepping up to the waters. He examines them cautiously before taking a small sip to determine their effects.

Vian raises an eyebrow. "Peculiar fellow that one. Welp... seems we got ourselves a quest to do."

He rests his hands on his belt and looks back towards his partymembers.

"So how about we head to that healing spring? Seems to like it should be along our destination anyway."

Here is my prediction on what is going to happen. Table top companies are not going to recover. Instead what we will see is videogame companies are going to move in and snatch up the free pie. Not only do they have more money to toss around but they have smarter people at the helm as well. We alread...

There is also the issue that most DMs are fucking terrible. I've said this before and people blew their shit back then but DMs should actually be paid money per session and gaming companies should seek out good DMs and promote the heck out of them. Maybe even pay them themselves. A good DM is worth ...

We had that rule before the Errata. A creature hit by the monk makes a save at the end of his turn to avoid getting stunned, and only one save. No matter how many times it got hit.

Naraset and MW are not aggro generals. Neither is Prossh. They are value generals and combo enablers. MW is only aggro in the sense that he can commander damage a player after three hits but that just an extra benefit of that guy. A true aggro general is something like Xenagos - God of Revels, Kaali...
