Considering me (or Imban) run our D&D games online, it'll only be relevant if we use MapTool or such a like tool.
... but still, I'm just amused.

I'm hoping. I've already come up with potential house rules, so.. yeah.
(And thanks, I've been abit more busy lately than I would have liked, and have more or less stopped gaming to M&M, a system I .. onl;y sorta know)

4e is now dead to me.
From ENworld [br][br]Or, as Imban said:[br][br]{20:15:14} <@Imban> Uhh, there are no more spell schools, Wizards now use either staves (AoE spells), wands (long-range spells), or orbs (single-target and battlefield control spells), the Wizard spell list has been radically shortened[br]{20:16:19} <@...

Re: Mutants and Masterminds d20 2nd Edition Thoughts
Take Luck as much as you can (capped at PL). Oh, and Perception-range powers. They autohit (still provoke a Toughnes save)
Also, you'll probably wnat to ask TavishArtair or Imban for min/max advice. (*shakes an angry fist*)

Re: The Giant Mushroom Cloud over Faerun
I actually think I liked Faerun since it was stable. Because I prefer not having to have adventures dealing with "THE ENTIRE WORLD HATES US."[br][br]n essence, I think the Points of Light idea is illconcived and stupid. I'd rather the setting lie about it's base and maintain a stable (and ...

The Giant Mushroom Cloud over Faerun
It looks 4e Faerun is undergoing drastic changes[br][br][br][counturl=113]Rich Baker's Post[/counturl][br][br] Anyway, why is Mystra dead? OK, several reasons, some in-world, some meta-management...[br][br]1. It's an appropriate (if grim) finish to the story of Cyric's betrayal begun in the Time of ...

Re: Bringing Them All Back: A Fix.
Chuckles: I prefer not to have the Gods actually tell their cleric to do anything. Because they could have ust done it themselves. More to the point, if my story sorta fails because they act up, there is something wrong going on. Besides the abuse of clerical spells.

Re: Bringing Them All Back: A Fix.
.. I disagre, that if a cleric wants to cast 10 or so spells, go ahead. If they want to raise the dead, go ahead. I'm not going to tell my players what they can't do, but I also generally have a "please be responsible" request.

Well, the hexblade does represent a fighter/mage archetype, and hey! It may be better in 4e!

Aside from sorcerers, how does that destroy the game? If something sucks for you as a cleric then you just decide that tomorrow you won't use it anymore. Problem solved.
Or.. .you can just not give them a shitty choice, avoiding the problem?
