The Cleric part is exceedingly dumb. It would take 10 seconds to delete the endless repeats and leave only the sort of almost complete thought part. Point taken. Edited So....this is supposed to be funny? What am I missing? A different sense of humour. Guess I was right when I shelved it the first ...

Unfinished Humour; guide to fighters
I wrote this forever ago and shelved it, partially because after the Monty Python reference I realized I was totally out of material and decided quitting was better than forcing it, but mostly because after reading through it I got the impression it was one of those things that are awesome in my hea...

Oh, I thought of one more thing: getting rid of XP loss was a good idea. Yeah it was. Too bad they are still wanking to gp loss, but whatever. -Username17 You talking about crafting? If so, how is going from 'you ride the Gravy Train to get double wealth' to 'you don't need any tricks, you just get...

I've rarely ever used them. Generally all my dungeon crawls tend to be places where people are living, so designing traps with the thought that the people living there need to be able to navigate them always put a damper on how crazy they could be. For the most part they break my suspension of disbe...

Fine. In 3.0 haste was so much better for casters than Fighters . Very true, they fixed the haste so that it doesn't give another action, but then they went and made metamagic rods of quicken. so the Wizard can still cast 2 freakn spells a round. 3.0 also had some really stupid fuckn prestige class...

Wup, here we go. First to file versus first to invent: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/First_to_f ... _to_invent
Though it's probably true in practice that first to file wins pretty much all the time.

The cover change was made to facilitate the board game aspect... I'm not seeing how, it's still up to the GM to decide whether or not something gives cover. Unless the only cover we care about is corners, I guess. Chapter by Chapter... This list makes the 3.5 update look less like god's sweet boon ...

The fuck is objectivism? Ayn Rand's Philosophy? You've probably heard of her, but was a staunchly anti-communist novellist who turned philosopher in her later years. I'm hardly well read, but from I understand Objectivism is a bit of empiricism, Aristotle, egoist ethics, and free market economics. ...

3.0 -> 3.5 changes
Yeah, I know, old stuff. Blast from the past. I stopped gaming shortly before 3.5 came out and picked it up again near a year ago, and I'm puzzled by some of the changes. Hopefully this doesn't dredge up old arguments. Cover is weaker. I guess people will spend less time worrying about it now than t...

Yo. I can't remember how I first found this place, it might have been some search on tripping fighters in 3.5 v pathfinder, or might have been a search on why my 4e wizard keeps getting nerfed. Or maybe it was a link to a post about the CR system. Anyway I ended up here about a million times and fin...
