I'm with Stahlseele on that one, although I'm leaning more to it being an intimidation tactic.

[AD&D]Does anyone remember this spell?

Once upon a time, way back during the height of second edition DnD there was a necromancy spell that allowed one to turn a rib into an additional ring slot at the cost of a permanent Con point. I do not think it was an official spell, but I am wondering if anyone remembers it. If so, I would love to...

The contract would have to say "you retain no copyright to anything you write, even if we breach contract or never pay you". At that point, I wouldn't fucking sign it unless I had a gun to my head. However many people don't read what they are signing nowadays, so they may sign into such a...

I was about to comment that the first one was albino, noting the silver shaded eyes and pinkish white skin, I was iffy on the second because I could not clearly discern an eye color. and the fourth appears to be Indian or middle-eastern, rather than a " white douche-ette"..... just saying

I believe that a good representation of Tremorsense would be how the Grabboids in the movie "Tremors" hunt. Now, mind you, that movie was classic 80's cheese, and the best way to watch it would be MST3K style with some friends and a few beers. However, it does give a good representation of...

I would like to point to this http://www.smithandtinker.com/news/smith-and-tinker-acquires-fasa-ips.php from back in '07. Unfortunately nothing has become of any of those IP's in 3 years..... Except for announcing the battletech 3015 game and releasing intro from that game. True but that game was a...

The problem is that CGL can't touch any kind of computer or console game with the BT stick. Same with Shadowrun. Hell nobody who owns the license can unless they go make a deal with Microsoft. Also, the rules themselves aren't difficult to figure out, but you want to talk about decision paralysis.....

Wageslave, not that your system is unbalanced or unfun or anything, but why in your opinion do you think that 3E PCs need another pool of resources to draw from? Do you feel that PCs don't have enough options at certain points in the game? It was originally created for a game world with little to n...

I had an idea similar to this using a variant of the action point/force point systems. Calling it Mana (not at all original, I know but I had to change the name) Allowing a player to spend temporary resources for a temporary bonus. Characters receive 1/2 their level (round up) +5 points that would r...
