Then don't use that Milestone. You write at least two for your character, and the Mister Cavern writes some for his adventure. You pick two to match how you intend to play your character.

So far I've only run two quick combats to get a feel for the system. The thing I like most about chargen is you only need to stat out important traits, and even those cover a general range. I tried Mutants and Masterminds, but got frustrated trying to pin down stats and skills. Is Thor's Intelligenc...

My sister made a character for this game once. Her investigator's signature combat skill was headbutt at ~70% She sketched a picture of her blood-splattered character wearing a lizard man like a necklace, after she got a critical headbutt and drove her face through his chest. I should see if she sti...

The Turks used Kurds as their hatchetmen during the Armenian Genocide, but that was a hundred years ago and in a different country. Iraqi Kurds were the best local allies we had over there.

I've spent the past year playing Marvel Avengers Alliance on Facebook. It is a fun turn based RPG. Not great, but passable. Recently they created a spin-off game, MAA Tactics. You direct a team of four heroes and SHIELD agents in turn based combat against an assortment of enemies. You have to suffer...

Is it a railroad if you give player total choice & consequence inside a given scene or room, but ignore it outside of it, when it comes to the plot flow ? Yes, though I wouldn't use Shadowrun as an example of "most railroadish." A bad G.M. can pull a "But Thou Must" with any...

Captain America 2. In 616 Cap's one of the best fighters in the world. Previously the MCU has mostly shown him brawling. They showed him fighting with slightly more finesse against Loki, but he still wasn't that great. Apparently he's been training since then, because his fights in The Winter Soldie...

This is not a good week for me. In an auto collision yesterday while working 16 hours, hit my head and pulled my neck falling on the ice today, and between the storm and drill, I don't expect to get a day off until Tuesday.

GF 22ish. Can't afford a horse, and I was doing that stupid quest for your first artifact. Holy crap those monsters were hard. I was dying in only a few rounds until I found someone to come help. If that was supposed to be a group mission, why wasn't it marked? I'm @sisteracacia ... are you complete...

Hmmm. If I do the math right, it looks like your 4 P.M. is my 11 P.M. and Prak's 9. The previous day. Tough but manageable. I think my name is @HamiltonOmega. I tried sending a message to @koerbl, but it said there was no such name.

Downloaded it and have been playing around. Got my fighter to 16. It's using Special Ed rules, but it is still close enough to remind me how much I miss tabletop D&D. What time do you guys play?

It isn't as entertaining as you're thinking; just use the solid wooden stock to hammer them in while you hold it by the barrel shroud.

I'm pretty sure the Asgardians were written as sufficiently advanced aliens in some of the comics, but I haven't really kept current. I could also rant about how badly they handled berserker stories as well (magic artifact did it!) but what would be the point? Did they claim that every berserker was...

I'd like to be able to carry more than two weapons... I tried that once IRL. I was carrying a SAW, my rifle, and a pistol. It sucked. One long gun is plenty, but I could see carrying a pistol or two and a knife for melee in addition to your primary weapon (with grenade launcher). So four weapons of...
