Virgil, I'd at least stick minimum levels on some of these. There's a lot of feats that are cool to have at 6th level that probably shouldn't be picked by 1st level dudes.

discord like chaos or discord like a Discord Server that there was some conversation on?

Cause the TTRPG server that some TGD people use has been pretty quiet lately as far as I saw.

There's also the classic copout: "run the game in the 1990s instead of the 2010s".

Or the 80s, if it's Stranger Things

I like that. And heroes can still do their things as well that way. Hero powers can stick to short duration things or small scale things, and army powers can be broad and long lasting things. Now to balance two different duration abilities against each other. Zinegata, I would add that two armies ag...

Tartuk the Orktar is a few yards closer to you, between your group and the troll.

As you gawk, the troll begins a classic maniacal cackle and shouts with glee "now the world will know the true might of Ladras!"

Sorry for the delay, busy weekend. Markis and Gurunk leap around the corner with Saoirse and Horus close behind! You're all in a large cave, perhaps 15yards across, with a huge pool of blood in the middle. The missing horse is nearby and slightly uphill from the pool itself, dead on the ground, its ...

You hear "Tartuk" among the words, but the rest is in an unknown language. Best guess based on the other evidence: Tartuk is either a component of or target of some sort of horror-construct ritual.

The cave is dim, but well sized for trolls to use. A bear trap has been left to one side, but Markis spots and and waves everyone around it. The tunnel is not long and mostly straightish until a bend after about 40ft.

Ahead, you can hear the mad troll chanting loudly around the bend.

Lintak says that she'll wait outside the cave while the others go back to the village and your group goes into the cave, but she's totally adamant about her not leaving.

Kentram and Mantek are happy to take Gram away.

Lintak is not willing to leave the cave until Tartuk has been rescued.

Whipstitch : I can only speak from my personal experience playing with people around a table. I tried to do the whole bidding deal, but after doing all that twice it became clear that [it was pointless and I switched to] just throwing down cards (either large or small depending on accomplishment th...

I understand that it's good when players get along, but if they're going to get along then the whole ceremony with going around the table and a person picking a card and then people saying that they're not going to bid on it and then going again for the next card, that's usually pretty pointless muc...

The Tarot Cards are okay but the karma system for it is mostly dumb. Players pretty much aren't going to actually bid against each other, so everyone spends 1 karma for every card. Maybe that's just my players. The thing where you get a special bonus to give to anyone except yourself is really neat ...

Kentram and his brother Mantek (humans) and Lintak (ork) are tied up and a little beaten but no major injuries you can see. They are happy to see you but seem to be staying quiet while motioning you over to them. They're died up with ropes that are easily cut apart. Gram Strongbrow (dwarf) has a hug...

So, in "RAW" After Sundown you need an advancement tarot card to learn a power, and if the power is non-universal you also need a teacher or book to learn it. My re-written magic chapter did not take a stance on that changing. We could change it if we want. Personally i think that if you h...

In my draft i wanted to use "Instant" for cast and done spells, and "Enchantment" for cast and last spells. Except I didn't want two things that had a name starting with 'I', and at the time I was using "intrinsic" over "passive". But yeah, the fundamental pow...

Markis strains himself to swing a power swing with his spiked mace and totally takes out that branch that he hits. If that had been the cadaverman's head, it would have been really dangerous for the cadaverman. Gurunk'Gall aims his claws at the back of the cadaverman's leg, and everyone thinks that ...

I was told via Discord to just have Saoirse use Earth Darts right away. As the players already know, but as non-player readers don't yet know, one issue came up with trying to resolve this round: When a cadaverman is in a Fury they get 4 actions a round. How does this interact with the Life Circle o...

Note that Earth Darts is a 0 thread spell in 4e, so you could just cast it right away and hit one target, then again next round and hit the other target. However, if you weave any threads into the spell you always have to make the casting test the round after your threads are complete.

Okay, so, first time doing PbP combat, I'll be a little extra precise about stuff. Declared actions: [*]Markis double moves to EE7 with a Defensive Stance (+3 Physical and Mystic Defense, -3 on Tests other than Knockdown Tests and other GM approved defensive tests). [*]Horus weaves a thread for Life...

Saoirse casts Air Armor on all four party members while you're all at a very safe distance. Horus creeps close to the cave entrance, close enough for him to sense the Cadavermen's patterns with his Spirit Dart spell. Gurunk'Gall (normally the stealthiest) sticks close to Horus while Markis sticks cl...

Alternative: as a bonus thread you can increase the Air Armor duration to (Rank+5) Minutes and then cast it once per person but not have to worry about fiddly small durations. Life Circle Of One is a 4y radius, and a hex is 2y wide, so on a hex grid (Earthdawn uses hexes for tactical combat) you'd g...

So I guess you all rush them and try to make a Life Circle of One?

Or is there any additional planning to do?
