It's Narendra Modi btw. What you don't like muderous fascist religious zealots even if they are brown and far away? Nanendra Modi is a douchebag.

And I hope he's one day reduced to sucking wangs for money on India's desperate, broken streets.

I just thought I'd share that.

Re: No, seriously, why doesn't Obama give up already?

Obama will probably end up winning the Democratic nomination, and subsequently, the presidency. He will also probably usher in a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate for the Dems, and retain the House. Of course Eragon was a disappointment.

You can read in thorough detail why it was a crappy movie and book here:

You can't destroy your own city after building it? WTF?

That was one of the best things about SimCity, having riots or wildfires tear down your creation when you got bored of the little cretins.

The system you described is totally doable and I take back what I said about it being unworkable. In that light it is.[br][br]Though I still disagree with the whole 'shiny kitty + angry snake' shotgun issue of stats versus skills. It's not even a problem; just keep the points from skills and stats s...

I suppose that makes sense. You put on a belt of giant strength and it gives a +2 bonus to athletics/fighting/surviving heights/whatever rather than just your strength score.

What I'm objecting is the claim that no, thats not what attributes are good for, the really COOL thing about attributes is how they totally screw valid character concepts in the ass. [br][br] You can for instance have an attribute and skill system where the attributes DON'T contribute to trained sk...

How much money do you want to bet that this story is going to become some sort of canard the anti-LGBT haters are going to beat us over the head with?

I can see the meme now:

China doesn't just want to persist, China wants to supplant the US as the world's number one power. What they are ready for is showing up the US and Russia ...

Well, if you're a mean old cuss, you could interpret the turn of events like this:

Elan is an author surrogate of Rich. A ninja chick drools on about his hawtness to the point of abandoning the mission for him.

Of course, only a mean ol' cuss would imply that.

Re: Dark Elves+Manga= What?!

Order of the Stick hasn't updated recently.

Maybe GitP suddenly came down with a bad case of narrator integrity and hid in shame when he realized that he was creating a fictional fangirl for his author avatar.
