Oh God. I had the motorcycle gang idea so deep in my mind it was actually distorting the picture. I seriously somehow saw the middle guy as bracing himself on a bike until you said that.nockermensch wrote: Its hard to look to that picture and not to imagine a row of bitching Harleys just out of frame.

i hazily remember there having been a thread either here or on dumpshock where somebody actually went and posted a completely RAW step by step hacking attempt . . not sure if it was still SR4 or SR5 rules, but i think it was the latter . . and it was a long posting with many steps. probably here, p...

FFTA and Marche. Hero or villain? Hero. The games got a pretty obvious message about how it is important to live in the real world, not some elaborate fantasy. It could have been done a lot better, maybe drawing some parallels between the one guy's dad (Mewt?) drinking rather than facing his proble...

I am pretty sure the flying monsters are never going to make sense. You can't put proportionally sized birdwings on a human sized creature to make them capable of flying. Flying dragons aren't possible at all because birds just don't scale up like that. Same thing with giant bugs...and giant humans ...

I love the illusion school a lot, especially at low levels. Silent and Major Image has won me more encounters than any other spell, including crazy town face-rockers like Stinking Cloud and Confusion. However, I'd like to do a little poll here: How many of you have experienced games where the Illus...

So, on a slightly related note to previous questions on Origins, what is the best way to warrior for quick efficient playthough without being a mage PC, dual-wielding, two-handed greatsword, or sword and board? Edit: Or, alternatively to warrioring, how about a primarily nuker mage? Dual wielding. ...

I have the enhanced edition for both games. They also include the expansions. Not sure if there is a convenient list of the changes they made anywhere. Haven't made it to BG2 yet, but the plan is to import my fighter/illusionist. I am planning to make Imoen a permanent party member because I always ...

Didn't Baldur's Gate have a bug where if you dual-classed from ranger to cleric you permanently got all of the druid spells with your cleric spell slots? Yup, that still there. Necromancy has horror at second level, which is an AOE save or lose that does not have any friendly fire problems. It's pr...

I did a lot of stealth soloing before, but I always lost interest. I am hoping the party system ill keep me interested. I am currently in the Cloakwood mines with Illusionist/fighter, Kivan, Coran, Minsc, Jahiera, and Imoen. Kivan's been the anchor of the group so far with the majority of the kills ...

I was thinking of running one character thorough the whole series. Kensai to mage is what I hear is the real end game powerhouse, but I don't feel good enough to actually survive BG 1 with no armor unless I am casting way in the back. Unless I can add the Kensai kit exporting to BG 2. Cleric/mage ha...

Baldur's gate optimization
So I finally bought the enhanced edition of Baldur's gate 1 and 2 and I am replaying them again. Or maybe replaying isn't the right word, because I don't think I ever finished either of them. My usual MO was to do the beginning quests, get bored and do something else for a while, and decide to roll ...
