Nevertheless, those are some pretty cool ideas. Garnished with a few elements from Metrpopolis, I'd play that in a heartbeat. One questions though: is "wunderwaffen" some kind of established term? Because it's plural, so a single bomb would be a "wunderwaffe". Nothing relevant of...

You forgot to mention the most insulting detail: the official playtest ends at July the 20th, and after that you can post one comment in a special afterthought thread until August the 17th. At the same time, they still prefer people to make "real" playtests in ongoing campaigns instead of ...

Is that really worth a feat? If I can waste a full-round, I can usually waste 15 minutes to prepare any spell. Well, you can do that with as many slots as you have Int bonus, so I think it's absolutely worth a feat. And saying that a full-round action equals 15 minutes in terms of viability is pret...

Divination Wizards reign supreme in Patfinder. You want to take the Foresight Subschoon from the APG to exchange the shitty bonus-by-touch ability with the awesome ability to pre-roll a d20 for something you might need to roll on in the next round. Also, later on you emit an aura of luck bonuses for...

Half-Orcs in Pathfinder are just awesome because they get useful alternate racial traits and also some very cool racial feats for fighting character concepts. I think they blow Half-Elves out of the water.

'Requiem for a God', an older d20 supplement from Monte C., might be of interest to you (although it discusses what happens if a god really dies and not just diminishes). I read it once and don't remember much aside from a couple of decent ideas and a lot of garbage, especially when it comes to mech...

A non-Paizo AP that should be mentioned here is Way of the Wicked, a 3rd party AP for evil characters who want to take over the world and exact revenge on the kingdom. The custom setting is pretty bare-bones and needs some fleshing out, but other than that I'd say out-of-the-box it is better than s...

Any thoughts on Skulls and Shackles, or Jade Regent? Those have been pretty absent in the discussions thus far. S&S assumes the players will take all kinds of shit from NPCs to rise through the ranks of a pirate crew. Or that they'll only sail within the confinements of the AP and not somewhere...

Antariuk , How is that review of the Green Ronin book a coming? Maybe a joint review you could do with deaddmwalking , if he's interested as well? (Assuming you guys aren't already working on that of course) I'm about halfway through right now. Turns out that cross-referencing three versions of the...

Ok, I'm on it. I'll go and try to make a comparison review with the Anniversary Edition from 2005 to see if anything's changed, and if how bad it is.

I recently acquired a copy of Green Ronin's d20 adventure "Death in Freeport", the first d20 adventure module ever. With pirates. Anyone interested in a review of this craptastic ENnie award winner? I'd like to try myself at an OSSR.

Bloodrager can do literally everything a Barbarian can do and he gets things like automatic buffs and flight. People keep saying this like a mantra but it's simply not true. Unless we're talking about the Primalist archetype. And since it isn't automatically allowed everywhere (not in PFS, for exam...

There are some intriguing ideas here. In Kintsugi, your skills get better each time they fail, up to a cap, then become unusable. That's kind of cool. Force Blade Punk has you roll multiple dice and then assign dice to various effects; I had considered doing something like that for Identity Crisis....

I am sorry you are right, by my own logic amazon would not be enough data, I have a feeling it would be a better indicator then online gaming but that is all it is. so we are back to the problem of having no data to go off of. That you're deliberately ignoring the ICv2 data provided by Leress is ve...

I've only skimmed the Unchained thread at Paizo, but I've seen that they propose a way to get rid of the "big six" and simply grant those bonuses automatically as soon as you fill the approriate slot (the bonus itself is tied to the price, so 2000 gp in the shoulder slot equals +1 resistan...

has pathfinder done a manual of the planes analog, is there still a Glittering Heavens? The only planar sourcebook for PF I'm aware of is "The Great Beyond—A Guide to the Multiverse". I think it's still 3.5 rules, but I don't remember any details. I know they still have the City of Brass ...

I just recently discovered the police series 19-2 (the English remake) and while I think the whole series to be a brilliant piece of entertainment so far, I have to single out S02E01 where the protagonists (and every other cop in the city) have to deal with a school shooting. There is a 13-minute lo...

In addition to those standard racial traits, I've got 2 additional traits I can assign (probably, depending on the DM). Now, since I'm a half-elf, and thus both a human and an elf, I can go dumpster diving through the elf and human lists as well as the half-elf and non-race specific traits... right...

Hell, I still don't understand how traits even work. Do I get all of the standard ones? Less? As a Half-Elf, it says I can pick traits off the Human and Elf lists? How the hell does that even work? As a Half-Elf, you can take anything that has a racial prereq of "Human" or "Elf"...

Thanks for the hex-goodness. Since I'm trying myself at hexcrawling right now this is perfect timing to get some planning done before the players decide to set up shop somewhere in the wilderness. PF grognards now chant 'Core Book Only' as their solution to everything they don't like. Say, that has always been paizombies' mantra, ever since the Beta. But the chant has become considerably louder ever since they anncounced that Core Only PFS thing. There are plenty of new postings about squeez...
